I should not have to have a Scorpion Tank, Wraith, Banshee Ultra, Arc Light, The Answer, Spartan Laser and other ground troops with an immense amount of concentrated fire on the Warden Eternal and at the very last second two enemy members shoot him with Battle Rifles while he has an inch of health and win the game because of it. This needs to be fixed. Please 343
To the Community,
Feel free to criticize this, add on too it or whatever but this is my two cents on the matter.

I genuinely don’t understand why they won’t simply remove the health bar. The last one to get the shot in wins. That’s life. That’s how my works, but we don’t need a damn Health bar to encourage someone to snipe him with a dmr or br or whatever. Leave it how it is, just please remove the health bar. Please.

I think this might be true as I have been awarded boss kills after I died but did a lot of damage in weak spots.
The other day on Battle of Noctus, my team was losing badly. When Warden came up for the first time I waited to the absolute last second and hit him with a splaser, getting the kill. The second time he came up, we were still down and he was on the other side of the map from me. I used my only req for the rocket launcher that shoots the many hydra rockets (I forgot what it is called) and ran across the entire map, avoiding all the power weapons and vehicles the enemy team had. I nearly didn’t make it, but I targeted him and locked on with the launcher, firing and actually getting the kill which put us in the lead and we eventually won it.
343 has already said they defend the “last shot gets the kill” system.
No I dont have source. It was a tweet. They want us to kill any enemy who is around in order to secure the kill.
Tell that to my cross-map DMR Warden kill on A.R.C - it was so lame I had to record it.
The system is broken, I know it is because I sniped every single warden kill that I needed to complete the commendation. Every single one of them I didn’t take ANY health pre-2% remaining HP

Thank you, I completely agree that it is broken and should be fixed
It’s totally random. I fired one shot at dalamen today and got awarded a legendary boss kill. Makes up for the times where I do most of the damage and did not get credit. It’s broken, but I like it.
Someone explain then, how if a Wraith or Scoprion tank kills the Warden, clearly having enough firepower to deplete whatever tiny fraction of health he has left in one shot… that the kill can still be awarded to the enemy team when it’s obvious how Warden had been killed?

The game can’t tell go killed who with 100% accuracy
same can happen if you or your team mates kill some one and some one else gets the kill. It’s most noticeable if you are rewarded kills with a weapon you weren’t using.
There is also a funny thing with it detecting a betrayal some times you can splatter a team mate but weren’t driving any thing or you are betrayed and the enemy gets a kill instead
Here is a perfect example of how broken the boss kill thing is. I got the kill, but only fired a couple of shots. It’s a bit of a joke really, and annoying as hell when it happens to you.

thing is, even when u have a tank or wraith you’ll have to time your shots right in the end…
light of urs with camo works perfectly for stealing the warden btw
