The Warden Eternal

Is anyone else thinking that The Warden Eternal is actually Bornstellar Makes Eternal Lasting?

No! That doesn’t even make sense.

Of course not! The Warden Eternal is actually Jorge, who got flung on a random, non-temporal slipspace trajectory right into the Composer when it was destroyed. The resulting blast of arcane energies, stretching into many dimensions, jump-started the Domain and formed the Warden out of the remains of Jorge’s consciousness. This is actually proven by the fact Jorge had orange on his armor and the Warden has orange lights around its body.

He’s actually the remants of Captain Keyes that had survived by hiding in the CNI that Chief extracted.

Sarcasm, sarcasm everywhere.

No, he’s actually every beloved Halo character that died (i.e Johnson, Cortana and Keyes). They’re returning from the dead due to mystical, unknowable force in the Halo universe known as “fan service”.

Dude, that makes sense since orange is my favorite number in the alphabet. I though Bornstellar was Iso-Didact. Silly me! Now I know he’s composer.

In all seriousness, the Warden Eternal probably isn’t the Iso-Didact. Bornstellar departed from the galaxy alongside Chant and all of the other surviving Forerunners on the Ark. He’s not going to return to this galaxy as a Promethean construct.

He’s Didact’s sidekick.

Now that’s just silly. Here’s a list of people the Warden could feasibly be:

  • Jorge
  • Chips Dubbo
  • Captain Keyes
  • Foehammer (Halsey says “he’s not emotionally equipped to deal with her as a threat” and as a woman and someone John could not handle as a threat, Foehammer’s a strong contender)
  • Sam
  • Dustin Echoes
Though I’m not ruling out Johnson, at least not entirely, Cortana is just out of the question. She’s blue and the Warden’s lights are orange.

I’m familiar with it, and yes I do.

No its really mendicant bias

We all know he is Sgt Johnson’s son. After all, he knew what the ancient alien constructs liked.

Something tells me he actually may have something to do with Mendicant. Probably his errand-boy.

I actually kind of wonder what 343 thought of the Ark theory, even though it seems to be swiftly being unwound.

The place John is in the opening trailer, where he finds the First Guardian, is pretty clearly the Ark. You can see the Forge in the background as it rises up.

I’m not so sure. The planet in the E3 2013 trailer still looks a lot like the Ark.
It’s still possible that we could be travelling there towards the game’s climax.

Halo: Hunters in the Dark already took place there. Perhaps it is foreshadowing the Ark’s inclusion in Halo 5? Ivanoff station was featured in the Kilo-Five trilogy, and it later appeared in Halo 4.

Good point.

Recruits with theories everywhere with no canon background! Suitable citations and information is generally required for hypotheses to even be considered.

The Warden Eternal is confirmed as the keeper of the domain and all her secrets. That is all… Drops mic hahaha. But seriously, possibly the warden monitor AI from the Forerunner trilogy. We know the Armigers are not only prometheans. They are AIs that work for pretty much all of the forerunner castes. Originally though they were builder in origin (I think). So Warden is most likely not Bornstellar but is just an enhanced AI (maybe like offensive bias?)

A Warden is someone who enforces something. So the warden eternal is someone who enforced the forerunner law possibly and is in charge of the domain. Since the domain is somehow active in Halo 5, the warden must wake up and do his job. Possibly, Chief, being handpicked and is also a reclaimer by Librarian’s definition, is allowed to access the domain and the guardian. Locke is denied.

I honestly believe there is more than 1 Warden construct. Maybe 1 for each guardian but all of them are in one essence, kind of like Ultron.
