The Warden eternal boss fight

So many people have a problem with fighting the warden over and over and personally I think the same but it’s not the boss himself but the fight design because compared to before the warden is the best boss we ever had in halo but here’s how I think it should’ve went down.

Okay the first fight is okay and legit but the next times it’s like “the warden returned with slightly more minions” or "the warden returned with turrets!“or"the warden returned but now theres gasp two of him?!” the fights have no variety.

if each fight was unique in it’s own way (would still like other bosses) then I would be okay with it. It should’ve been like this, in one fight you had to fight the warden by collapsing the environment around him, or in another you had to fight a group of wardens using banshees and dodge his EMP shots, or in another fight it was more vertical with swarms of watchers diving on you or, when your running down the guardian instead of shooting other prometheans you had to narrowly Dodge a bunch of wardens on the way down.

Remember the cutscene at the end of the second last mission and blue team were blasting away at a army of wardens? What if that was a endless survival fight and wardens kept on coming at you and as soon as a warden downed you THEN the cutscene begins, cortana comes in, friend zones the warden, betrays you, blah blah END OF MISSION.

So yeah just my 2 cents. Could the warden be improved if his fights were more varied? How would you improve the warden?

Sigh the only way to get responses these days is to have click bait… (this is my last bump mods so don’t get your jimmies in a jumble)

No, I agree this boss could have been really unique if we didn’t have to fight him so much. That Sword looks like it could transform, even in RPGs and even older Halos we had more variety, Tartarus didn’t fight like the Heretic leader, it made the fight more dynamic.

I am in the same boat. The boss fights were repetitive and boring to me after the first one. I do like the character! The Warden Eternal is very cool! Maybe if they made only 2 boss battles, the first time you meet him and then the last time. I do like the different modes to fight him like your ideas!

I kind of wanted the Warden to take the fights and situation serious of protecting Cortana, but since he could make almost infinite amount of himself, maybe he saw it as a challenge or a game? And that’s why he didn’t send a whole bunch at one? If so I would of liked to see him watching you in certain areas of the map, ohhhh maybe he is? lol XD

The campaign as a whole was very weak, so no surprise when you fight the same boss like 8 times.
