Just thought of this thanks to another forum user that goes by the name of:

The Flood have been missing from campaign since Halo 3.
The last major breakthrough we got was Halo 4’s Infection where you play as a Flood variant devouring the souls of terrified Spartans.
Its time 343 Industries takes the next step for The Flood! They should do a REQ bundle with a update based around the theme of The Flood.
Below is all just matter of opinion and none of this is guaranteed to come true, I have no say in what 343 Industries puts into the game; I just think it’d be cool to add in.
THE VIRUS update
Add a sub game mode with Infection called Virus; The virus is given to one random player in a 14 player lobby, everyone is unarmed. The infected player blends in equally with the crowd unless they choose to strike allowing to assassinate any given player to spread the virus with them. You’ll never know you’re infected till its too late. There is no escape.

REQ Bundle with a new pack to open each week for 4 weeks.
- Virus emblem (I almost wanna make it myself.)
-The flood emblem
-Rusted and degraded weapon skins that give it an overgrown naturalistic appearance. Almost like they’ve been sitting on a battlefield for far too long. - A few armor variants that are inspired by original Flood concepts. Maybe with war paint that is designed to potentially fake grunts into thinking your a new breed of the Flood as well.
I am no game developer so when it comes down to it, Not much detail or items in general can be described unless shown. Which case I’d be more then happy to make and render out if other people are supportive about it. Sure it is no guarantee that it’d make it to the game development stage, but it’d be fun to do none the less.
Bottom line-a Flood inspired update that really brings out the virus in us all. Credit to BIGSEAN802 for inspiring me to make this post.
