The Variety is amazing. Well I think so.

Ok So I haven’t played Halo 4 but from what I can see or know the game is going to have some sweet variety. Variety is pretty much anything from weapons, environments, vehicles, game styles and story.

So lets see.

1-22 or so weapons, Rifles, Automatics, Lasers, Plasma, Explosives, Single Shots, Bursts, Scoped, Alien, Human and more. Pretty sweet

2-Probably going to be some good vehicle variety. Halo always has, We can expect our favorites and maybe some awesome come backs and new ones.

3-We have 8 levels in Campaign. Now that doesn’t sound like much. However lets just assume we get multi-enviormental levels and such, with multi play styles those 8 missions may be more full then ever before.

4-Spartan Ops with a huge number of missions. As with campaign, will spand a large variety of game styles. I bet we can see everything from “Fire Fight” style missions (SIngle areas with missions to defend) from “Race to this place” and all thing between. This one is probably one of the biggest. With such potential of variety Spartan Ops wont only add life when each new “episode” comes out, but infact years after. Because if you wan’t to play a “Race” mission or a “Save this guy” mission it’s SURE (and I could be wrong but w/e) to be in there (if not already in campaign)

Also isn’t the first season 50 or so missions? I mean damn, That’s A LOT of missions

5-This one can go either way but idc, It’s exiting. Custom Load Outs will infact add variety. Not only to one self allowing interesting set ups, but each game will change. We can see thousands+ loadouts we could use. Which means each game will change a good amount.

For example you could have games with a lot of automatics, maybe PV vision or so. Then one game may be more rifles, shields, etc. There’s good variety in those games alone. Which is always good. It gives people/us more reasons to play, because we can expect such changes, balanced, but changed.

6-Same as 5, but the Armor Specs or w/e count too. They don’t really come out until people get to 50, right? Either way will change gameplay, I just hope for the better.

7-Forge. That’s all I need to say. Because I could write an entire post about Forge alone. But I think we know why this is here.

Anyway, Anyone else exited for how many damn possible things are in Halo 4?

I agree, a lot of people apparently have a problem with all this variety.

Everything looks so promising. But with all this you risk a big letdown. But I doubt that will happen.

variety != good, just because there is a lot of options doesn’t make it good, it can actually mean the opposite, to much variety will cause the games gameplay to degrade a lot, the overall gameplay will just be cahotic, messy and random, no sense of control or focus to it which is a bad thing.

Cliche but true: Variety is the spice of [Halo] life.

The game is looking damn good

Lol when people say variety is bad.

Sure, Imagine if Halo 4 came out with

10 weapons

5 vehicles

No Spartan Ops

No new features

It would be called -Yoink-. Even if it was good, It would be a shadow of what it is now.
