The V6 ZB Gametypes are LIVE.

After weeks of playtesting and tinkering with the numerical guts of the custom game options, We think we have hit the sweet spot. We are very happy to announce that we’ve hit the bomb on all fronts, from the casual default style all the way to the u-ber competitive side of Zero bloom.

So here it is at last…

ZB Slayer Pro: DMR Or Needle Rifle Loadouts with Sprint.

The Results:

4 shot kill DMR & Magnum. (All Headshots)

6 shot kill Needle Rifle (All headshots)

18 Shot kill Assault Rifle (Lethal when combined with a Melle attack)

Two hit melle’s from full health and shields ( One pops the shield with no health
drain the second kills )

Good jump height that is less floaty than default.

Jet pack has been nerfed with the use of 200% Gravity.

Armour lock has been nerfed with the addition of 125% damage you do more damage
to the the energy meter.( Shooting a person in armor lock with an assault rifle is actually effective now, when 3 or 4 people all teamshoot with assault rifle the person in armor lock is forced out of it almost instantly.)

Active Camo was balanced with the title update.

Focus Rifle got a buff with the extra damage and Is now a desireable weapon.

Frag Grenade Damage is nerfed ( A Direct Frag explosion will not pop a players shields but the amount of shield left can still leave them vulnerable to a one shot headshot kill ).

The Shotgun’s effective range is slightly buffed.

The pace of the game feels faster than the default settings and offers a unique experience that feels almost like a new game. With the three gametypes, we feel we offer a fun experience for the casual players (ZB Slayer), the competitive players (ZB Slayer Pro) and for the inbetween gmers who like playing either styles (ZB Slayer DMR’s).

Yes they do use 200% gravity.

To add on to that answer, 200% gravity not only makes the jumping less floaty it provided a pretty perfect nerf for the jet-pack too, which was why it was able to be put in at later versions of the gametype.

Good - I wouldn’t bother with them otherwise. You should just post the specs so people know if they’re interested or not. It’s a pain to go through the file browser and delete all the gametypes you don’t want. And have you got any screenshots of those maps?

I haven’t i’m afraid but it’s a file share Issue rather than an actual getting the screenshots issue, If I could upload screenshots for you I would but nothing explains a map better than exploring it for yourself to find all the suttle differences and major ones too…

Awesome, going to get on my Xbox to check it out, can’t wait to see what mow down is like. 343i should just use these settings. It will save them a lot of time

Not to speak out of turn (as I haven’t played your gametypes) but in my experience with those type of movement setting, they don’t work very well with AA’s - particularly Sprint and Evade. It’s just way too much added movement/speed when all the default movement setting have been increased by that amount.

Im liking these damage settings soo far. Movement, not caring for it too much.

It’s funny you should mention that actually because we are thinking of moving Movement down from 120 to 110 because Sprint feels like the Go-to choice for us, out of 7 people playing 5-6 were always using sprint and only a couple would occasionaly switch between other AA’s.

These settings are something I am enjoying, the 4 shot kill is brilliant and really speeds up the game.

Now I’m curious - how has hologram been affected?

I beleive the Icon that appears on Radar indicating it was a hologram used to be a grey circle rather than a red one, Now it is a red one indicating an actual player.
