in Spartan ops it does not allow you to use the new armor like prefect odst mark v and ricochet and resets you to recruit armor
It’s been like that since the release of the Bundle.
and its not getting fixed ever either so i reccomend having a loadout without the new armor mods or weapon skins ready for SpOps, and change your armor when you play to non-DLC stuff (pre-order bonuses and special editions still work though)
It’s been that way since the bundle launched, and 343i says they can’t fix it; although they waited a while until after the DLC was released to tell us that.
Hence, none of the new armor sets, armor skins, weapon skins, or armor mods will work in Spartan Ops.

TECHNICALLY, BS angel posted in a topic about it ONE day before… but it was one post… hardly qualifies as a warning… its rather laughable that they got away with this… its a borderline con, there should DEFINITELY of been a ‘not spartan ops compatible’ warning in the product…

Actually, that forum post was mere HOURS before the DLC released. Some of us bought the DLC anyway hoping it would eventually be fixed, but BS Angel waited until two weeks post-launch to tell us that it couldn’t be fixed.

Indeed. So 343, seeing here that people (ie. the OP) are still buying the champions DLC without full knowledge of what dire limitations are contained within can we please get an update to the xbox live marketplace description? It’s one thing to -Yoink- up and forget to hand out critical information about a DLC pack before it’s release (in due fashion) but it’s another thing entirely (evil of a kind even EA would shy away from) to sit back and milk the poor saps who keep buying this gear fully intending to use it in SOPS.

I would like for it to be fixed, but I am thankful that we got them at all.

This is all wrong.
The Champion’s Bundle was made available on August 20. The first statement by 343i on compatibility with Spartan Ops was by bs angel on August 30. So for the first week and a half of the DLC’s availability, there was no indication that it wasn’t going to work in Spartan Ops by design.
And the fact that they did not tell warn us well does not make me very pleased.
We’ve known about this for a month. They aren’t fixing it. Move on.

Yup, I remember seeing that. Shame that she responded very late, yet I even mentioned that it would’ve been nicer to receive the warning earlier. Then again, i understand why they did it.
