The Updating Playlists Coming Soon 343i!

Please consider this from a Halo franchise fan.

The Ordiance drops need’s to be fix with the updating playlists coming soon! With the upcoming TU most will agree or disagree. My thoughts on this fixing problems!

BTB playlists Ordiance drops killstreaks: Camo, Power-up, Human Lazer and Shotgun. Giving a better balance.

Updating playlists: Take out ordiance drops for everyone unless you of course have the specialization perk “Tracker” to get the killstreak ordiance drops which makes it not absolute random-ness in Halo for everyone. Like i said if you actually have that perk you deserve what you ask’s for.

Which would mean the power weapons and powerups like ex. (sniper rifle, beam rifle and rocket launcher will need placement on map with a timer. Same with the camo and powerup will need placement on map with timer.

This should fix the problem of random-ness and unfair games. Which also the active camo perk needs to be defiantly taken out!

We need 3-5 second respawn! - Better map control / Team work!
Same loadouts! - More of a competitive feel for both casuals and competitve!
Visable ranks - better for goals and competitive games!
Health recharge - Needs to be a second or two less wait to charge!
DRM - Needs to be toned down with the auto assists!
BR - Needs to be alittle more juiced up!

Which alot of other’s that have complained about thing’s aswell needs to be fixed.

EDIT: We need competitive playlists for us competitive players! All we’re asking for is bring us ranks to have a goal, strive and improvement in ourselves, instead of not seeing our true skill level either go up or down. So we’re asking you 343i please make a playlist with ranks and the things mentioned above. : )

Your probably right they went in the wrong direction of making a FPS game balanced and by all games Halo?

Halo always been balanced since it has even started it’s franchise.

I agree. Also, I think that in the BTB playlist they need to add more gametypes then just slayer.(CTF,Team Snipers etc) They could save alot of playlist room if they made one playlist to hold all the Team Objective gametypes. In Halo 3 or even Reach you never seen 1 Objective gametype have its own playlist.

No btb multiflag is killing the funfactor for me and many of my friends who refuse to play because of playlist mismanagement.

Exactly,the pistol is just as balanced in CE then any other weapon.

Personally I think ordnance is one of the worst ideas I have heard of and I would remove it completely but this would work too!

Exactly guys i was hoping you all would understand correctly, I also read about BTB team objectives would be great aswell! Could make it how the Crimson DLC pack, but with BTB it would play out the same way also.

Example:

VOTE BEFORE MATCH STARTS:
BTB (8vs8 CTF)
BTB (8vs8 Infinity Slayer)
BTB (8vs8 Regicide)

And so on… Wish they would include “Team Assualt” though!

I agree some bigger objective games would be good, but big teams doing incredible in terms of population and mashing objective in there would not be the way to go.

Ctf and dominion, keep those they are doing ok

Replace team regicide oddball and crimson list with a dlc required squad battle or btb objective and make room for a couple of popular requests like double/multi team griffball etc whether they end up rotational or not.

Then just get used to loadouts and AAs because I don’t think 343 is going to cut them anytime soon. Personally if they take my carbine from me I’m out. And force dmr starts on me again like I put up with on reach… I’m sure I’m not alone in this.

I wouldn’t say they would take away your carbine from you, but i do think they should create a playlists for the competitive side with either BR and DMR starts only with the exception of having the “Tracker” perk for ordiance drops only. Which will make it feel more like Halo instead of full blown Call of Duty.

Oh yeah this thread is basically a topic about ordiance drops.

I think that personal drops and map drops should be kept, mostly as they are, with some tweaks.

1: Random Map drops can have that random spawn timer, random weapon and random location. Just put an icon over the spawning weapon before it actually spawns, like how the Engineer spec works, but instead of 15 seconds something like 20 or 30 seconds before the drop. Everyone on the map should also see it, instead of just those inside the 80 m radius.

2: Power weapons in personal drops should be replaced with loadout weapons for ammo refills.

3: The Engineer spec could show a timer on how long it is until the drop so those using it would know exactly when it’d drop. Or see the icon even earlier than those not using the engineer spec.

This way we get to keep these new additions but keep them balanced while also encouraging map movement and team encounters.

This sounds kinda appealing.

I like this idea, because by the time you get that killstreak your ammo runs out.

Bump. Need more replies on this topic with ordiance drops being ammo or power-up, camo, human lazer or shotgun.

somehow we can can find a balance back in Halo again, i believe it starts here!
