Arent player controlled ordinance drops essentially kill streaks or care packages, and arent “modifications” essentially armor/weapon upgrades?

I want Halo 4, not Halo: Call of Duty Edition. Halo was made popular because it stood apart from all the others. If players want COD, go buy it. Halo will continue to bring the dedicated fan base back, but trying to bring players from COD is just wrong. We don’t need them. Halo was always Xbox’s number one franchise, and it will continue to be the flagship of Xbox. Halo 4 is going to wreck COD come November. I guess that’s why it’s called the “Reclaimer” trilogy.

I do not understand the who Halo vs. CoD. They are two different games which happened to be shooters. One is a fictional wartime shooter, one is a science fiction shooter. There is no need to compare the two in every thread really. They can both be great games and both have a huge following.
That being said, I love Halo and it will be the #1 franchise in my hearts at all times. Halo 4 is going to rock.

Why does CoD almost never change? I’ve played all of them since 4 and The text has looked exactly the same… except for the fact that it is green o.o I think all of them were terrible except WaW because… it was… different? I don’t know. I don’t play CoD anymore but on the other hand I don’t have the money to waste $60 on a crap game year after year after year. I will make an exception for assassin’s creed >.>

CoD is more science fiction than Halo. I want to see someone in the middle of warfare running around hip firing a .50 cal sniper rifle it’s just not gunna happen.
At least Halo is based in a time that these technological advancements are possible.
I’m not really sure if it can be called a science fiction game when everything in it is a complete possibility with it being based 500 years and the future. It’s not like Star Wars where it is based in the past so we definitely know that it is sci fi

You’re wrong there. Star Wars happened in a galaxy far, far away. So for all we know, it could’ve happened. (doubt it, but not impossible)
