For those of you who want to argue about how sprint breaks competitive gameplay and the others that think sprint is a great asset, I have made this thread for YOU.
People state that sprint has positive affects as well as negative.
(Positive Example: get across maps faster without vehicles, more feel of a spartan)
(Negative Example: players run away when losing, takes away competitiveness)
I, for one, don’t care if it returns. I assume there will be playlists that don’t have it, as well as playlists that do.

First of all, I am pro-sprint
Second, what makes this thread “official”?
Finally, how do you know that there will be playlists that dont utilize sprint?
These threads are so similar that they deserve the same post:
A consistent feature that is used by everyone can easily be tweaked and balanced. Theoretically, if Sprint is a universal feature in Halo 4, the core gameplay will take Sprint into account before final execution. Therefore, it is more than possible for Sprint to become a positive addition to the Halo franchise.

I’m sorry. What I meant to say is that I’m sure they will have playlists without sprint because in multiple interviews 343i employees stated there would be classic Halo.

I think your misunderstanding what they meant, but we shall see I guess
We already have threads like “Sprint: why we don’t like it” and “A letter from the competitive community” that both are much bigger than this and are both perfectly suitable for discussion regarding sprint. Kudos for trying a thread to gather all the discussion, but we already have multiple threads that are much more official. If this thread ever gets on page ten with lots of good points nd debates made and not just people sying “Sprint sucks” or “Sprint is awesome”, then you can start considering adding “official” to the title.
> It’s funny that you think you have the rights to classify this as “official”. Come back when your name is Frank O’Connor.
I believe this could very well be considered at least semi-official if the community truly adopts this as the main discussion place for sprint which I personally very much doubt. But currently there are sprint threads that are much closer to official status than this.

True, but you would still title it “The Unofficial Sprint Discussion Thread” or something. Unless it’s released by the company as “official” we can’t really call it an official thread.
