> > Remember Halo: CE? You had to read The Fall of Reach to know what was going on at the start of the game. I’ll admit, in H4 I had no idea what the Didact was, and I was confused. But, The past Halos had their plot holes, and they also had their literature. Also, 343i is not getting the money from this game. See, its Microsoft that gets it. If Halo 5 becomes a huge hit, sure, 343i employee’s paychecks probably goes up a bit. But 343i doesn’t get that money. Microsoft gets that money, and we all know how they like their money.

Again, Microsoft wanted to boost the sales, so they told 343i to get some sort of “Super-Halo” game out there ASAP. Obviously, it takes more than 8 months to put 4 games into 1, remastering 1, and making sure everything runs properly. It was outsourced, and when things are outsourced things may not go well, because communication isn’t as high as it would be with just 1 company doing it all.

The reason it was removed from Matchmaking was because of the huge maps. The Xbone can’t handle 2 people on the same console on completely opposite sides of the map.

With Halo 5, 343i is trying to cater COD fans along with Halo fans, once again, due to MS wanting more money. Of course, COD players will have to get used to Halo, since it is quite different than COD.

> Funny?, because in Halo CE, the story was actually in the game since the story was clearly about being on the run from the Covenant at the start of the game, it even expanded on them further within the game. There was more plot-holes in Halo 4 than I’ve ever seen in any previous Halo game.

> Halo 5’s lack of split-screen is a poor excuse to not include when not everyone cares for 60fps, now because of this people are refusing to buy the game, which is odd because Halo 1 started off with people playing with split-screen, people like myself was actually interested in playing a local game with a friend but can’t now because 343i graphics decided they care more for graphics than game-play.

> I don’t understand how Halo 5 is a step away from CoD when it now includes ADS, kill cams and useless abilities that most people didn’t want, the beta was literally very similar to the Black Ops 3 beta and I’m not joking about that.
Well, I guess the lore-geek I am just wondered why they were in the middle of nowhere with a giant ring in front of em. Every Halo game has had their plot holes, H4 being the elephant in the room on this one.
343i I guess expected the Xbone to be able to run splitscreen and 60 fps, which is why campaign was built off of it. So now, obviously, that turned out to be a mistake, as the Xbone is pretty inferior and cannot do that. Hopefully they can find a way to patch it in Post-launch, if thats even possible.
I know I will probably get slammed for this, but I only see ADS as a zoom function that benefits awareness of surroundings and makes the AR and SMG more useful than they have been, since the bloom is slightly reduced. Also I didn’t realise kill cams were in the game? I thought they were removed. The abilities are equal, while games like Destiny has abilities that are just unbalanced. (Nova Bomb, Fist of Havoc, Arc Blade, Shoulder Charge) H5 being similar to COD is just a subjective subject, and apparently there is no true answer. We all just look at different elements of each to compare. I just looked at equal starts, power weapon controls, and kill times. The reason I called it “a step away” is because we can no longer start with whatever we want, and we have to go find it. Instead of Blops 3 when you can spawn with many weapons, some that are much more powerful than others.
I don’t want to start a debate over this, as I usually don’t want to be included in them. There is no real comparision between Halo 5 and Blops 3, because everyone looks at certain aspects, instead of the game as a whole. Until someone takes the time to compare both games with detail, there will be no true definition.
