… betrayals and teabagging. Not even kidding.
If there’s anything that came to define my matchmaking experience in Reach, it was sprinting for a Sniper or other power weapon, and then getting beaten down and teabagged by my own teammate. At first, I used to get pissed off when this happened, but after having it happen countless times, it just became one of the endearing aspects of Halo matchmaking that I remember fondly.
Teammate being a jerk? Take a risk and betray him. Hopefully you won’t get booted, and he can watch you -Yoink!- him until he respawns. Anyways, betrayals and teabagging are iconic aspects of Halo gameplay, and both need to be brought back into their former glory.
As much as this might sound like a joke, I’m totes srs.
Yeah I miss betraying and then getting pissed when I couldn’t play for a whole 10 minutes.
You should be fired into the center of the sun.
If you didn’t do it all that frequently, you were almost guaranteed to get away with it. The best part was when you got away with betraying someone else 3-4 times and then when they raged and betrayed you back you got the chance to insta-boot them. Tied for best was playing with rl friends in a party and betraying them for the lolz. It sucks not to be able to mess with other players, particularly if you’re playing with rl friends. That was always a huge part of the fun for me.
So what you’re saying is, with all the problems people are complaining about, what you miss the most is being a complete and utter D-bag? I agree with Syllipsis up there.
