If Halo Infinite does not give us the classic 1-3 gameplay we desperately crave, both in sp and mp, this franchise is finished. I question if 343 truly understands this. I have been a Halo fan since the very beginning. Halo’s 1-3 are the greatest games of all time. They must take this simple formula and give us a new experience. Bungie was able to innovate every time. Stop using Halo Reach as the point of reference. No sprint, no armor abilities. Period! I don’t care if some people like the new style. The fact of the matter is with or without those people this franchise will not survive another failure. If I see sprint on July 23rd, this franchise is officially dead to me.
“If you dont cater to my needs I’m out… maybe… probably not… but I’ll hold a grudge forever!!!”
Please note this is not a place to vent or unload. Everyone wants different things from Halo and to believe your way is correct route is very subjective. Just relax and play Halo in whatever form it occupies, you can always create & forge your own experience!

I don’t think sprint would mean the end of the world, even though I agree it’s fairly redundant.
343i should definitely have used the original trilogy as a base for Infinite. That said, there is still plenty of room within that formula to expand upon in a way that isn’t adhering to modern trends.
