After reading through all of these replies - no wonder they aren’t having a public beta - so many people would cancel their preorder.
Let’s see what we have here:
Special abilities or perks – increased regen and extra ammo
Unlockables
Camo + sniper + sprint
Sprinting as default with the left stick like Call of Duty so there is no crouch jumping
A 5 shot BR with recoil and bullet spread
A DMR with bloom
A 6 shot pistol with an 8 round clip and bloom
Slower kill times
Jetpack - sorry Bumper Jumper users
Wallhacks - a rose by any other name smells as sweet
No true ranking system based on skill
No incentive to win because of the exp system + same ranks as Reach
Different starting weapons, AAs, and perks
Ordinance drops which may work like care packages - no more timing of power weapons
No powerups like overshield or camo
Sprint + double beatdowns
Maps designed for sprint and AAs
Instant Respawns
Joining games in progress
No Firefight
That sounds like the Halo I fell in love with in Halo 3. The reason why people left Reach in droves is not because Call of Duty is a better game than Halo, but because Reach no longer felt like Halo and Halo 4 is just continuing that tradition. It’s really hard to stay positive when you hear about all of these changes. I feel sorry for the people whose livelihood depends on the success of Halo 4.

I’m not excited AT ALL. I don’t like CoD, and that’s what Halo is becoming, fast. Sadly, Resident Evil 6 is also going to be a LOT like CoD, the creators said so themselves.

Got you! You trader go play CoD! You dont belong in these forums! Original Halo was just as succesful as CoD but Halo Reach took insperations from CoD wich made it suck! SALES THAT REACH GOT WHERE OFF OF THE FACT THAT PREVIOUS HALO GAMES WERE GOOD!

Yeah, because why would anyone want to make money from their product? Clearly satisfying angry people on a forum is more important.
