My friend and I have beaten this level 2 times now and the game will not register it for me. It won’t give me the achievement and it won’t say I beat it.
Is there anyway for me to fix this?
So you are completing the actual level trying to get the Truth and Reconciliation achievement for completing the level on any difficulty?
Or are you thinking there is an achievement for completing the level on Legendary?
I have every other level complete on legendary. I was trying to beat that level so I would unlock the achievement for beating the game on legendary.
I decided to try something. I figured maybe the game wasn’t giving me the achievement because I was not the leader of the lobby and it would unlock two achievements (heroic and legendary). I played it solo on heroic and got the achievement for beating the game on heroic. I’m hoping I can get it on legendary now.
Let us know how that goes.
Additional idea: Are you sure “Truth & Reconciliation” is the level that the game seems to think you haven’t beaten? I hate to make a really obvious suggestion, but I just want to make sure you covered all of your bases. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is kind of a hack job when it comes to programming (in certain respects), so it’s probably rather easy to confuse the game when it comes to level completion.
I really wish 343 Industries would have been able to keep the project in-house, rather than outsourcing to Saber Interactive. While this would have pushed back Halo 4, I firmly believe the product we would have gotten with Anniversary would have been improved tenfold. The game as-is feels incomplete, and not just in the respect that it’s a campaign engine and a multiplayer engine basically stapled together and sold as a “cohesive” experience. Even just talking about the campaign: some of the levels feel like a lot of work could have been done to improve them. There are a lot of visual glitches that could have been sorted. The infamous “double mapping” issue is a great example of what I mean in that it makes the new graphics pretty to look at, but near impossible to play at some parts. Just a hack job.
Sorry for going off on a rant - I didn’t mean to ruin your topic. Please, if your solution doesn’t work, keep this thread updated.
