Well, if it’s a theory, at least it’s a well supported theory (I believe several biographies say this, and I’m pretty sure dental examinations of the remains proved that the burnt corpse was -Yoink!-). -Yoink!-’s supposed disappearance is supported by little more than the fact no one saw him in his final moments.

Yeah, well, his family at the time was more or less just his wife, Eva Braun. Most, if not all biographies that I’ve read state that he committed suicide in a bunker with his wife shortly before the Red Army reached them. His body was cremated after his suicide.
