PLEASE AT LEAST WATCH THE VIDEO BEFORE COMMENTING/CRITICIZING

LateNightGaming, a Halo YouTuber, has gotten in touch with a couple of Ex 343 employees, and discussed with them what happened to the Halo franchise from Halo 4 to Halo 5, including what happened with MCC.

He stated in the video that these ARE 343 ex employees, but the information they are giving COULD be false, but it is very unlikely.

He decided to spill the beans in his newest video, and didn’t reveal the names of the Employees. It’s some juicy info, and I definitely recommend watching if you care to know what is happening to this franchise we all love so much.

He goes over campaign story rewrites, the idea that Halo 5 was going to have a more open world campaign, what went wrong with MCC, and more.

I HIGHLY recommend watching this if you even care in the slightest bit about this franchise, because it exposes a lot of the truth.

I didn’t pay too much attention to it because I don’t see any tangible proof, so why should I care?

He simply “says” he did something. This rolls back to my first comment, Why should we believe what he said if he doesn’t show any proof? He “says” he sat down with them on Skype, for all I know he talked to his mother about the game and thats what they came up with.

Why was he specifically the only one to receive this information (if he in fact did get told this on Skype and not a random website)? As far as I know, he’s no one special in Halo’s community to the point where he’d be singled out. And if this “ex-343i employee” was under some NDA of this information, then why did he leak it in the first place?

This is just a more detailed version of “My uncle works for Nintendo so I have all the new Pokemons before they come out”.

There is no evidence that his sources are credible. We have no idea if his sources are actual 343i employees, and if he even has sources to begin with.

Because nobody on the Internet has ever lied before. Look, I didn’t like how Halo 5 turned out and I’m sure all manner of thins happened to contribute to its state, but seeing how quickly just accept something as the gospel truth because it reinforces what they already believe is disturbing.

The first pitch saying Halo 5 Guardians was first to be spin-off game with these huge open-world-like areas and hubs and UNSC Infinity open and free to walk around and fast-travel point an such…
WOW, I WOULD HAVE LOVED THAT!

Kind of searching and wondering, flash-backs, etc. Damn, if it’s true, this game could have been SO MUCH MORE epic. (and I enjoyed Halo 5 campaign a lot)
Aaaand this is why I dislike some things about Microsoft. Kill Cortana just to distance her from Halo? Do whatever you want, Microsoft, Cortana was and will always be part of Halo. But kill her just to promote Cortana for Win10? So STUPID.

I’ve heard and earlier thought myself about Fireteam Majestic to have bigger role in the future… And well, I played Spartan Ops a lot. Far too many times and this is the thing I miss in Halo 5 MOST.
Also, Thorne and Palmer being in Halo 5 in Fireteam Osiris is a public knowledge.
But, really sad things worked out… well, like they worked out. :confused:

And also about MCC - I thought the same thing it happened with it… Again, Microsoft forcing things and making them worse.
Interesting, again Microsoft forcing to make a PC port… Well, lies of Spencer saying “no Halo for Win10 for now” are uncovering!
Well, I like MCC A LOT, but just because I always play just the campaigns and Spartan Ops, never the actual multiplayer.

I’m still MAD at Microsoft for delaying Halo Wars 2. They said it will come out FALL 2016, and now make it for February 2017? Yeah, something is definitely not right…
And I’m NOT HAPPY AT ALL that Microsoft wants to make Jiralhanae/Brutes such a big deal - I would prefer Flood a lot more.

IT IS NOT FAIR. Microsoft sticking their noses and commanding things they shouldn’t be touching… Too much power, hue hue hue.
(while I always liked Microsoft, recently I am more an more concerned how money hungry Microsoft is becoming and what they are doing…)

Let us, the public know all the Microsoft’s dirty secrets.

Also, of course - it MAY or MAY NOT be true. He might be talking true or just talking lies. However, it shows actually some interesting new light on the events and all.

I have that achievement picture as my XBox background. Made it seem like he was going rogue or turning it dark…nope
