Right listen. I just wanted to know if the was any sightings of the familiar ‘trigate.’ Let me fill you in, if you didn’t play any of the early games (Halo CE - Halo 3) then I suggest you leave now. Right back in teh day the was a video put up on the youtubes about this button on the level Delta Halo. Again this will activate another button on the mission High Charity. Now again this could be some sort of glitch right? Why would a game developer put in this ‘gate’ and leave it in the game? Well because it wasn’t a glitch, you see in the mission The Ark in Halo 3, the was a bit (fighting the scarab) where you could actually get out the map. Now you needed a partner to do this, (both with grav lifts) you would jump over this wall and a again to find this wall, which you couldn’t get over. But this was a carving, a face with a button inside a triangle. Now people thought that this was just a silly way of bungie trying to mess with us. But then it got serous and the hunt began. But then it died down and everyone forgot about it. But I haven’t gave up yet. PLEASE if you have any information on the sed trigate in Halo 4 please tell me and if I have missed anything out please correct me. Thank you for your time
I think that H3 thing was just a nod to the original Trigate, which probably was just a leftover.
Remember, Bungie did say there was still one big mystery left in H2, so the Skull Hunters (who led them? forgot the name) went crazy. Everyone hoped for a hidden Skull Menu, enabling skull activation like it’s now.
turned out, there was NOTHING and Bungie just kept us busy.
So, don’t expect anything.
P.S.: Skull. I sure said “skull” a lot, didn’t I? Skull.
Well, Bungie folks have always been a bit crazy. They just loved their easter eggs.
I hope 343 include many EEs in H5. Guess they didn’t in H4 because they were out of time and not yet confident enough (they are a young group, after all). Let’s just hope for the best!
And yes, I miss roaming the H2 forums, emptying my 10th bottle of coke, looking for some crazy egg that might not be there and just enjoying the game as a whole:
Multiplayer, Campaign, Community and Easter Eggs.
Today it’s all about Multiplayer, sigh!
Yeah I do love me dem bungie fellas. I’m really looking forward to bungie’s new game Destiny! I hope that’s as crazy as Halo 1, 2 and 3. Looking forward to all their new easter eggs and fun little shenanigans!
