Hi everyone. I’m a PC only player and I recently hit 51 hours in Halo 5 forge but I haven’t gotten a Timmy helmet yet. Can you no longer get this helmet anymore or am I doing something wrong?
Were those hours spent playing Custom Games? I don’t think investing those hours on Halo 5: Forge will give you the helmet. If that’s the case, you have to play the console version of Halo 5 and get the helmet that way.
By the way, the Timmy helmet will never expire. Anyone can get it.

Yes those hours were spent in custom games, thanks for the info though.
You won’t get Timmy the instant you hit 50 hours. They do a weekly review (Ctrl+F “50”) to see who meets the requirements and who doesn’t.
Give it a bit.
Does PC count? I play custom games on pc forge a bit but they don’t show in my game history on waypoint. I figured the helmet was a console only thing

Maybe so but I have seen players in custom matches who’ve had the helmet and they said they got it on PC

If it’s a console-only thing, that’s kinda funny because when I was awarded the pack with the helmet, it said “thanks for playing Halo 5: Forge on Windows 10” even though I had never done such a thing.

I hope so. I don’t have a console anymore but play PC customs a couple times a week. I’d like to get the helmet
Edit: I just checked my req packs and there sat a Timmy pack. From my service record on here the last console game I played was 08/04/2017, the last custom game on console was 03/15/2017. I’ve played a lot of pc forge since then and apparently I earned the helmet in the last few weeks. So myth comnfirmed…you can earn it on pc.

I figured that was the case. Besides, matchmaking is only possible on the console version.
you only need customs on console though. If you were to get an xbox one and halo 5, you could possibly stream it from your xbox to your pc and play from your pc. It depends on the quality, connection, and how close they are unless they both use Lan in which place you can play to you hearts content.
That’s crazy… I forget that we can do Halo 5 Forge on PC.
Most people got it from spending 2 days worth of Custom games. I’m not sure how you can attain the Whale helmet from Halo 5: Forge though…?

Forge allows you to play Custom Games.
It’s the extremely watered down version of Halo 5 that 343 so graced us PC players with after refusing to allow us to Finish the Fight that we’ve been waiting to finish since 2007.
It also may be related to things I’m not allowed to discuss on Waypoint…

I think that the time is probably in milliseconds so it’d probably be CTRL+F “180000000”. Programming knowledge has served me well for once. Either that or they have some function with a timeout of 604800000 that says something like

}

I played console up to SR150, then sold the console back in August 2017. I have been playing PC Forge customs matchmaking and I have to say it’s brought back the joy of Halo for me. No ranks, no reqs, no xp, but it’s as hardcore or casual as you want it to be and no xbox live required. There is almost always a match you can join, if not then just make one and someone will join. Also I got the Timmy helmet from forge pc yesterday. I guess it’s possible it’s a mistake by 343 but I haven’t played console since August and even then I doubt I had more than 10 hours in customs.

You’ll get it once you reach 50 hours of custom games
You can only get that on.console not PC.
