It goes like 3 feet! I feel it dosent even move me as fast as sprinting would. It needs a massive buff.
That’s what I thought, but I think the bright light effect with it messes with players aiming at them.

Hmm, I don’t know, I thought this was going to be the most useful ability but it turned out pretty weak. But none of the abilities are too OP as far as I can tell.
Ive had a freaking blast with it man, saved me many many times. Just wait till the last second, jump, and trigger it to dodge a vehicle. Do I wish it fired me a bit further? Totally. But it can still be useful.
It can’t be that horrible, pro players were using it in MLG Dallas.
The thruster pack is amazing. I’ve used it to score assassinations, escape hectic firefights, dodge grenades, grab vehicles, close the gap between me and an enemy for a quick melee… it’s super useful.
Yeah id have to agree as well, as pretty much pointless unless ur playing “Flood”…have u seen those things while ur a zombie? its insane!!
if they do buff it, hopefully it won’t be like the flood thruster. I love it in flood but in other games it would just get crazy.
It isn’t completely practical but in certain situations it can be useful. I have found it is pretty good to close down that sword/shotgun range. Also if you aren’t using the mobility spec it gives you that extra little bit of distance at speed to get in cover if your sprint ends.
I need to test out whether it adds benefits to things like jumping. I imagine it can be pretty useful as a faster and less floaty jet pack making some interesting quick mid range jumps you couldn’t make normally. That’s just speculation though, I need to test that out.
I’ve gotten out of trouble a lot with that thing. You’re obviously misusing it.
Just depends on when and how you use it.

I bought it because I expected it to be like the thruster pack you have as a Flood. I was dead wrong.
The thruster compared to evade kind of sucks. The truster pack only allows you to do a short jump once while evade allows you to go twice the distance and twice the amount of times.
The thruster pack looks like its for the flashy looks of it, not so much useful.
It needs more thrust.
Better then the jetpack. Between the jetpack and two flights of stairs you’re better off just using the freaking stairs. Useless.
The only thing its good for is dodging ghosts in btb.
I question why it’s even in the game.
It’s a terrible replacement for Evade
