The things that annoyed you the most was...

What really annoyed you about Halo 4. I mean what really annoyed you. Try to stay awway from the common things like the DMR and lack of a UNSC flying vehicle.

For me it was the (dare I say it) un-Halo-ly campaign. It just never had that open feel. It was a good story, but wheres the two scarabs falling from the sky? The running from from an active firing ring? A Halo ring that isn’t just a sky box thats in one cut-scene!

Now you’ve got the idea, GO!

The lack of a local only search filter that allows me to play with no lag and instead forces me to play in matches hosted my people in US or Spain.

The first time I put Halo 4 in my disc tray on November 6th, the woman “singing” really annoyed me. I can’t ever listen to it, it just sounds like screeching rather than harmonious vocals.
I guess that it is an unusual complaint, but I honestly can’t stand it.

Obviously I have more serious concerns with the game, but I believe your intention was not to have the same complaints floating around this thread.

I’m trying to get to the root cause of people hating this game, and having the same comments is like a broken record.

What really annoyied me was how the first release of Action Sack.It was horrible, today i have no ideea what changes have been done in the past few months, heck i tried playing a match yesterday but the population was so low that i eventually got back onto Borderlands because it’s more fun than halo.

Most importantly, the lies of this being the best halo ever…

The broken record is the issue though. For me I dislike the DMR not because it is insanely powerful or anything, but because it makes it so no matter what you have to consider visibility in long sightlines. It makes it difficult to traverse any map because if you go in the open, you’re screwed. With the BR in prior titles, you could gauge whether or not you’d be safe based on the proximity of other players.

Other issues for me are paper vehicles, and the inherent randomness that ordinance drops have. I’d much prefer weapons to spawn on map. Finally, flinching is stupid, descope required a lot more skill, and was something you could actually counter with skill.

I actually enjoy the game from time to time despite all of this, but I can not take it serious at all as a competitive game.

the thing that annoys me the most is constant use of AC that every one and their brother feels the need in use in every playlist.

AC just encourages bad game play by allowing people to just sit in one spot and jump people as they go by. this is encouraged even more when you take into account that after a few kills they can call in a power weapon and camp even more effectively.

Inability to define a custom controller layout.

Well aren’t you just edgy and original…

The biggest annoyance I’ve had with Halo 4 is how there was missing functionality that should have been there from the start. I can understand a time crunch and the need to prioritize certain things, but I’d much rather have to wait for a complete game, then receive a somewhat incomplete one early.

Other than that and a few other minor things, I’ve greatly enjoyed Halo 4!

Lag…my only and biggest problem with Halo 4.

Unpredictability in multiplayer:

-Ordnance
-Custom Loadouts

And the side effects of these:

-Lack of arena shooter style gameplay
-Feeling defeated by the game rather than by my opponents

> -Lack of arena shooter style gameplay
> -Feeling defeated by the game rather than by my opponents

I miss these as well. Remember when the game released, there was only about 11 playlists. Talk about 1 step forward 2 steps back for Halo…

Unbalanced maps and weapons, the lack of vehicle gameplay also.

JiP in every match. It is by far the worst thing to have in Halo. When you JiP of a match, most likely you’ll end up on the losing team.

Got annoyed when I noticed that I may only choose Finnish subtitles or no subtitles at all, and that names of playlists, menus, etc. are automatically in Finnish instead of English. That feature would have been a lot more useful back in the H1/H2 days when I didn’t understand English at all!

Where do I start? The disappointing Campaign sure annoyed me, the horrible UI still annoys me, the lack of Custom Games options is devastating, Forge is packed full of annoyances, and Matchmaking is a mess.

You hit many of these head on, but in my opinion the UI is the best a Halo game ever had.
