Infection the modified zombies from halo 2 was available in custom games on H3 from launch. But it’s own playlist was a ‘live service’ themed event over Halloween.

They do not work for us. We are not hiring them. We are not signing their paychecks. This weird consumer ownership of other peoples’ work is creepy and needs to stop. You have a choice to buy, or not buy and walk away.
I don’t want video games produced by crunch at the expense of human livelihoods. I couldn’t give a rat’s yoink. Because at the end of the day it’s not about me. And it’s just a -Yoink!- video game.

I laughed when I read about ownership… I don’t think people know we are consumers…. What gives we are not even investors. Well some of us might be but still.

Yeah but in place of those things obviously Infinite has its own things.
Like I could say where were the bots in Halo 3?
Where was the semi open world?
Where were the weapon skins?
Where were the play-tested maps?
Where was Atriox? The pilot?
Where was the Strongholds?
Where was the weapon balance?
Where was the AI?
Where were the accessibility options?
There’s loads that both games have the other doesn’t. Just because one game has a really stinky game mode doesn’t mean a future game should have it.
Co-op is a pretty big thing to be missing at launch tbf, even if it doesn’t bother me. So I’d say that’s noteworthy, the other stuff. Meh.
This saddens me and to me is a huge disappointment. Arbiter deserves better.
How is that “good riddance”?
This is why people like Halo 3 more.

Wow, that’s the funniest thing ive heard in a while. Infinite releases with a broken MP, broken ranking system, broken BTB, no co-op campaign, no selectable missions, few custizations, and no Forge.
Halo 3 released with ALL of the above AND it all worked!!!
Did you get a different release of the game than the rest of us, because you sound ridiculous otherwise.

Get better internet. Halo 3 was the same.
Is it? Works pretty well imo. Halo 3 had a massive deranking issue. Easily abused and many games ruined as a result. Rotational ranked playlists didn’t work. Halo 3s ranking system actually just sucked.
Worked at launch. It broke after making some last minute changes to appease the community. Halo 3 BTB was very fun.
Fair (although not as straight forward as semi open world and crossplay which Halo 3 didnt need to work around). Halo 3 co-op was very fun.
Fair. Bizarre thing to leave out. Most open world games don’t have them, but most open world games don’t have linear missions you get locked into. I find this very strange it wasn’t included. Halo 3 mission select was very useful.
Significantly more detailed customisation than Halo 3 had. Don’t understand this one at all. Halo 3 had basic colour swaps and 12 armour sets which changed shoulders, chest and helmet. It was good at the time but Infinite already is way more diverse and has much better details to the armours and options. Halo 3 did have Elites though. I assume regrettably we may get them as a season pass in future update. Skeptical but I think that’s the case.
Fair (but also Halo 3 basically didn’t have forge at launch lol it was bad and Infinite is gonna be crazy so I’m happy to wait). Halo 3 forge was so bad at launch, granted better than nothing. But I’d take nothing at launch for a significantly better one in a year.
