If and when we do get new vehicle types for Warzone (fingers are not crossed), I would like one of them to be the Type 26-A Banshee. It’s difference to the current T-26B model would be:
Plasma cannons fire together like Halo CE but slower fire rate, does slightly more damage.
Fuelrod shots lock on to air and ground vehicles only, less damage but higher AOE.
Can hover in-place like ODST, cannot point straight down however.
Does not have shields, can take more fire.
Slower flips and rolls, tighter maneuverability, also while boosting.
SFX is that of Halo 2/3.
Cockpit is fully enclosed like Reach.
Varients are:
Classic Banshee
Heretic Banshee (has more armor and a faster boost)
T-27 XMF Space Banshee (uses heavy plasma cannons instead of the normal type, slower overall speed with higher armor)
REQ levels are 7-9
Rarity is Ultra Rare to Legendary
The startup screen for Halo 5 shows the T-26A Banshee model in the center, evidenced by the anti-gravity nodes on the wingtips. So the idea of having this model isn’t too far fetched. What do you guys think?
