Is it me,or is the suppressor kind of a useless gun? I’ve tried to use it in multiplayer effectively, but it rarely has any range, and up close it seems a little ineffective sometimes D: I really want to like this weapon because it looks and sounds cool, but it’s really weak!
I really like the storm rifle, It whoops butt! I tried the suppressor after that, and it just is to as good. It seems as if the suppressor is weak and the spread it ridiculous. Des anyone else think the suppressor is sort of lame? And if you have any good tips ow to use it, is there any?
ALSO, this is not a halo 4 bashing thread, this is for discussion of the suppressor. I love Halo 4, so please.
I like it, I prefer the AR though. For me I am an automatic person so i’ve experimented with the Storm Rifle, Supressor and Assault Rifle. I Use the AR, but I find all 3 i’d average about 20 kills per game no matter which one is used. Just depends when you know is the perfect time to start shooting. I use it on my stealth class though.

Him, that’s weird. I seen people using forerunner and covey weapons ALL the time! It must be just you. Just to let you know that was kind of an irrelevant comment.

Him, that sounds kind of cool! I think I might make a stealth class. That might… Just might work
The Suppressor is an ideal weapon to use in really close up maps. So I suggest to save it in a loadout for just in case. Stick with a precision weapon of some flavor if you’re caught out in the open.
@Ice Wolf, that is because people are afraid to use a default non-human weapon.

Then you must not be landing shots. The weapon is a monster up close.

Unfortunately, the maps in this game are gigantic. But the Suppressor works great as a defensive tool on CTF Solace, and overall on Adrift. Those are the only maps where you can truly limit the amount of lines of sight on yourself.

I must not be then! I know it’s supposed to be powerful, I only gave it a chance for like 5 rounds of infinity slayer.
Yeah, I’m still trying to find the sweet spot for the suppressor. I love the AR, and I really want to use the Supressor efficiently as well. Because of the spread you have to get really close, almost melee range, which is rather uncomfortable if the other person has a headshot weapon.
