Here are just some of the ridiculous statements everyone has probably seen multiple times here on the forum. #1- “Nobody cares.”
“But you did care because you clicked and posted.”
No, we still don’t care, but we did want you to know your wrong. #2- “Halo 5 should be like _”
“Well go play those games then.”
Declining population, bad ports, and lack of dev support are reasons why you can’t go back and play such games for long. Hence the concern about the future. Plus MCC doesn’t have everything of each game which makes it a problem for those wanting to play a very specific game. Yes, I didn’t say because it was buggy. Because its works fine. #3- “The Warzone bosses need a fix.”
“No, just secure the area.”
That only increases your chances but one guy with a BR will still steal a warden kill from a whole group. It happens far too often.
Alright, you guys post some. I’ll maybe add more eventually.
“I’ve been playing Halo since CE…” - “Halo 3 had a very large population. People played Halo 3 because there was no sprint or abilities. If Halo X doesn’t go back to Halo 2/3’s gameplay style, Halo will never have the population it once had.” (paraphrased)My thoughts on those two points:
<ul class=“ordered”> - Just because you played Halo since CE, it does not entitle your opinion to be valued above anyone else. - The market was very different at the time Halo 3 was released. Halo 5 has to compete with many triple A titles. If 343 Industries doesn’t try to adapt to the changing market at some level, the game will not appeal to the masses. Are there problems with Halo 5? Yes. However, I don’t think that “going back to Halo 3” will help the franchise sell the way it wants to sell.[/list]
“I got banned for a month because i lagged out of one game”
“Quiters need to be euthanised!”
“343 need to look at what XXX is doing”
“Forge maps look just like Dev maps”
“Halo is dying”

I disagree, to the reason why people state this. People say that comment to show where they started in the franchise so people won’t comment, “You probably started with Reach or 4”. If someone never played 1-3, but they state H5 is the best game in the Halo franchise, how can someone say that if they have never played the first 3? Seems very flawed. Maybe what people need to say is, it’s be best Halo game I’ve had played and experienced.
The competition was very high during the time H3 came out and for those three years it sustained the population.
