The story

While we know Brian reed is an awful writer, the game towards the end really picked it’s self up and really gave us a reason to finish the story; here is some evidence, when playing on guardians, when you first pop into the level you as greeted by the monitor, as you make your way out of the complex you find that Cortana is take the chief away, the dialogue between the two, Cortana and Locke was outstanding, the two bantered like an attorney on the case floor but as each switched off they continuously attoned To a bigger threat, that Cortana was going to destroy humanity, no Roland did not go with her, and Locke knew the only way to stop her was to get the chief back and find a way to end her anger.
this is a perfect example of why Brian reed is a book writer not a game writer, he can take the banter and turn it into drama.
While the games story lacked the greatest levels ever made in a halo game were featured, just shows how good they are at developing the game landscape
