The State of MCC: General Feedback

MCC is my favorite game right now. The MCC is notalgia I can enjoy with my friends.

This game is going to be the GMod of a new generation.

I present this list of kind suggestions on behalf of the people. Lots of my friends play, and everyone seems to want the same things:

Custom Games Browser
The custom games browser was the most fun I’ve had in a game in a long while. My friends all agree.
Custom games were what Halo was all about back in the day.
This game is going to explode in popularity when the browser is released.
Perhaps release it in “Early Access?” The people will appreciate it.

Mod Support
I see what 343 has been quietly working on in the background. I want to thank the developers for their hard work in preserving the games from my youth.
Basically, 343 made it possible to import existing mods from Halo Custom Edition and Halo 2 Vista.
People love value for this money: at 10 dollars for each game with years and years of high-quality custom content, it would be senseless not to own the MCC.

Mod Support Integrated in Custom Games Browser
Minecraft amassed a massive following through people making content about the game. People want to play games that they always hear talked about. People talked about Minecraft because it was infinitely customizable, and you could play with your friends. You could talk about Minecraft and theoretically never run out of things to talk about. I would wager that mod support will make the MCC one of the biggest games in the west, if not the world.

Steam Workshop Support
Back in the day, you could download maps onto your XBox 360 from Bungie’s website. This game has so much content and has no real way to access it.
Presently, the only way to get forge maps is to download it from someone’s fileshare.
Steam Workshop would be the most convenient for PC players, but any solution where we can search and download maps and game modes would be incredible.

Toggle Voice for Custom Games Servers
One of the best gaming communities I’ve encountered was on Quake Live. For those that don’t know, Quake Live is an Online Arena Shooter (like Halo). In a similar fashion to what 343 has done with the MCC, Id Software and Bethesda Studios did for Quake III Arena from 1999.
What I found in-game was surprisingly wholesome: an older crowd talking about their nostalgia and having a blast.
This game already has a great community, and it will have an even better community if we can talk during custom games.

Drop-In Matchmaking
I don’t know what goes into making a game. I don’t know how 343 ports in multiple games from Xbox 360 onto PC and can still add new content to them.
However, the people would greatly appreciate the devs trying this.

Playlists
The hardcore playlists are great. The MLG maps are great. However, there aren’t as many players on them as there are on casual (because they lose to my clan).
There’s nothing “hardcore” about radar. Please consider making the hardcore Halo 3 playlists the only competitive Halo 3 playlists.

The Exchange
It sucks to put in effort for something to have it be given away for no effort later. The people would appreciate reform in the exchange.

Dedicated Server Hosting 27/7
I love how easy 343 made hosting your own server on the custom games browser. Having the ability to host a game without having to be playing the game would open up a lot of possibilities, especially with mod support. Users who have the appropriate hardware could play with over 100 players in a single game.

Conclusion
This game is going to be huge if the devs implement these suggestions. Thank you, 343 Industries, you are doing amazing work!
If anyone disagrees with me, I would love to hear why in the replies.

Sincerely,
