The Sprint S3 episodes after launch?

IMO it defeats the point because it is suppose to show development up until release to get you excited for the game but if the game is already out then you wouldn’t need to watch it anymore.

If it ends up being forge or btb related that would be annoying.

Thoughts?

It will probably have spoilers that they don’t want out before the game releases. It just like the last issues of Escalation release after the game does.

Plus why wouldn’t you want to watch it, its a look into how the game was made which no developer does.

May also contain things about DLC etc that’ll be coming out post launch.

Scheduling The Sprint following the launch of a game implies episodes dissecting and discussing the campaign in detail. Probably spoilers. The story is a key part of development, and belongs in The Sprint, but we can’t really see those behind the scenes features without corrupting our experience of the game.

Im pretty sure all of the sprints have come after something. The first was after the beta, then the second cames after e3

Wait, have they said the rest of the Sprint is airing after launch?

yea i saw the dates… makes no sense i thought it would come out weekly till launch…

Yeah, as said above it could contain. But i actually think it will we cool seeing how the is made AFTER the release.

I’m going to watch it for the fact of seeing the progress and how everything builds. It’s really interesting imo. Kinda sad they feed me two episodes and told me wait 3 weeks for the next 3:

I’ll still watch. It’s interesting to see how they make the game and what decisions need to be made to make the game better.
If there’s spoilers then I’m glad they’re waiting.

The first two episode are available.

How many other games came with BTS content? A few, and they were never released before the game.

episodes 3/4 are on the 26th (day before the game comes out) and I believe episodes 5/6 are on the 28th-30th. I’m sure they are loaded with stuff that could be potential spoilers.

Actually it’s mid November for 5 and 6. Spoilers don’t mean it needs to come out mid November.

The pre-release episodes will probably have a lot to do with shipping and midnight launch parties and stuff.

It makes perfect sense to release some Sprint episodes after launch. It’s likely a very arduous endeavor to ensure that nothing important is spoiled by the episodes yet 343 is fully aware that die-hard fans will scour every frame of footage looking for details. Those same people will be upset if they uncover something “spoilery” that 343 unintentionally revealed in an episode.

There is likely a lot of information they’d like to talk about but can’t because it would compromise the experience.

I’m assuming it either contains spoilers regarding the game’s story or will detail some of what goes into actually launching the game.
