For that just go a page back! Haven’t made any direct examples, but the analysis was about 4v4 maps in general. So the points still might be what you’re srarching for.
And yes, the gameplay as well as balancing changes on level-design are quite huge!

You can download a 1 to 1 remake of Midship and it is small by comparisson to Truth. Takes maybe 2-3 seconds to get across the map with sprint. Faster if you have a sword. I made a short clip of it at one point.
EDIT: I found the clip. Midship. I may have exaggerated a bit on the cross map times but not by much.

You would most likely have to search for them in the customs browser. I haven’t really searched myself, but I know there are at least Sanctuary remakes out there. My previous post was just expanding on what Delta was saying.
Me asking for map remakes only touches upon the subject of map scaling.
Not looking for maps to play, or fan remakes. See I seriously doubt the 1:1 Midship remake is meant for Default Halo 5 gameplay if it takes around 5 seconds to get accros it.
What’s the smallest map in Halo 5 and compare it to the smallest maps in the other installments in the series

It determines travel time in the game that it is in. The map comparissons show how the same map from game to game is stretched out to compensate for the feature.
I think I misunderstood what Richnj I was estimating roughly how long it would take to traverse a map on average from the classic Halos. I prefer the classic Halo’s and I thought Richnj was saying that it makes no difference to anything in the game. I understand the scale problem, I have voiced concerns over this issue earlier in the thread. Anyway 30 seconds on average to traverse an average map.

You tell us. After all, we’re the ones saying it serves no meaningful purpose.
But the fact is that Sprint is not, in any way or form, a determining factor in how long it takes to travel through a map. The travel time is ultimately determined by how the designer wants the map to play. And the vision they have for gameplay also determines the mechanics. If the designer wants short travel times, they can just create a small map. If they want short travel times but the map seems too cramped, they can just create a larger map and give players more speed.
Now, of course if the designer wants large maps and if they want short travel times, but if they don’t want players moving fast in combat, and if they can’t give alternative means of fast travel around the map, then they might add Sprint. But that’s a lot of ifs.
In case of Halo, it has become clear that pace of gameplay has been no incentive for implementing Sprint. If you want to hear straight from the horse’s mouth why 343i implemented Sprint, here’s Josh Holmes’ take on it.

Tsassi, Im aware it was implemented for marketing reasons to appeal to a larger demographic. My point is I thought Richnj said that Sprint doesnt change the way Halo plays, which is a lie, it does. But I dont think he meant it like that. Ive listened to Favyns video, and went through Youtube comments to learn that Sprint has no place in Halo. It changes Halo fundamentally, adding sprint is akin to changing the first amendment, it affects everything, media(How players react to every situation in-game and the fact it changed), Government reactions and crackdowns on “hate speech”(devs control over their product), how foreign citizens see the US and may not want to come as a result of it being like Russia(Consumers not wasting their money on a game just like the fifteen others just published), The economy and its actors (The sandbox and the guns, equipments vehicles) and its own citizens (The AI, health, damage, aim assist and enemy design).

Ugh. I cant take anything he says seriously because he likes to bend information in a way to make his paranoia videos seem credible.
Anyway. Sprint having its place in Halo is a subjective topic and no one person is right about whether it belongs or not.

In which case, make the maps smaller. Add mancannons or teleporters. Add vehicles outside of reqs. Make vehicle reqs more easily accessible. Sprint is the easy solution, not the creative one imo.

I’m banking on them not including Warzone in future games.

Pretty much all Arena maps. They were made tiny for Esports.

You seriously can’t give it a 100% return chance. The mode feels shoehorned in, and that to include the REQ system with gameplay altering stuff. Just like HW2’s Blitz.
Given the recent massive backlash and government looking into it, the system is either getting a massive overhaul, or getting scrapped in favour of a more, at the time, PR friendly approach and older gameplay feel to it. BTB 2.0.
As for sprint in all that mess. Not even in Warzone maps would sprint be “needed” were the maps made with no-sprint in mind.
As stated before, there are loads of ways to work with trabsportation which does not result in sprint.
Adding that last part for OT.
