Which is funny because we already went backwards from Halo 4 to Halo 5. We removed Loadouts, Jetpack, kill cams, Ordnance, re-purposed Armor abilities into Spartan Abilities, and went back to equal starts.
So clearly going backwards isn’t always a bad idea.
And it’s also funny that people want Halo to “evolve”, but when other people want to change Halo 5, suddenly they don’t want it to evolve anymore.

Not a single one of those statements are even close to an answer to any of the three questions I asked.
Furthermore, you’re only assuming anyone who wants sprint removed wants Halo Next Installment to be a reskin of any of the original Halos.

Is being able to escape easier a good mechanic which speeds up the gameplay?
Going somewhere fast is up to the map designers, they decide how fast you get places at default max speed. Sprint or no-sprint

Halo:Reach and as soon as I finished that game, I played Halo:CE, Halo 2 and Halo 3, I played Halo 3:ODST when it was incorporated to TMCC.
I play CoD, Gears of War, Rainbow Six, Fortnite, Battlefront and Battlefield. But most Halo and CoD.

What makes Spartans not fast, strong, or smart in previous games before Sprint came along?
Just because people want Sprint removed, doesn’t mean they want the game to be exactly Halo 3. You’re just using it as a crutch to your argument.

You’ll find that people don’t really have a problem with the studio, but how Halo is handled.
Also, I’d gladly have lower overall graphical fidelity if it means better gameplay, split screen and so forth.

A Spartan who can shoot while moving at full speed is more human than a spartan that can’t shoot at full speed?
How about you give us the gameplay side of sprint?
You side step with assumptions what people want, something which brings you no-where.
Then there’s also the same old “lore” stuff which boils down to how each and everyone defines a spartan (which is evidently different from person to person on many occasions) and how that should translate into the game (which again also is different from person to person). I have my definition of a spartan and it’s not a normal human with armor. However translating Lore into gameplay, why should that be? Are we aiming for a simulator? At which case, where’s prone? Corner leaning? Wall hugging? Blind firing? Melee fights?

I think that it wouldn’t be the best solution… It might don’t work in some maps.
