You’re diamond in team arena with a 40% win/loss.
Relax on the insults.

That would explain why Sins posts all of a sudden started getting 4-7 likes within minutes of being posted, despite the fact that no one new started participating in the discussion.
Pathetic.

I’m going to assume you mean that, and correct me if I’m wrong, you’re going to play those 5 games, and judge your performance on whether or not you rack up a nice kill count or just win. But I hope you realize that not using sprint and gaining a buttload of kills or winning isn’t what I refer to, right? I refer to basic map movement, something you legitimately are punished for when you don’t sprint, whether you win or not. And before I go on, I never once contradicted your character, or anything. Nor do I “suck at Halo” and pretend to know everything. I’m not the best, but I’m sure not sucky. I may be a brick wall sure, but again, that’s because I don’t just bend to incorrect points, or accept them at face value.

Pros’ words mean nothing if they’re wrong, you know. Just because they’re pros doesn’t mean they’re 100% right. Some pros vouch for the motion tracker and automatics to be as they are. Doesn’t make it right. And again, you fail to understand that map problems are caused specifically by sprint (And by extension, other abilities), no matter the implementation. Because you need to make the maps in a certain way to where sprint has an advantage to justify its inclusion in the first place. Sprint isn’t the only issue causer, but it certainly is up there as the main reason as to why the maps are as they are now.

I would have to sift through hours of footage from pro league videos for the interviews, and their videos from their daily streams. I watch streams all the time, maybe you should too. Some pros like non-sprint halo more, but that does not mean it doesnt create more of a skill gap. THAT is what im arguing about. People are saying H5s sprint is broken when it is actually a multitude of other things like radar, auto weapons, and a trade heavy game. Those are the issue that we should be resolving with 343, not this “wahhh sprint kills halo” excuse.

Lmao I been onyx the past seasons without a team. This season not only am I busy with school and have no team, but I hardly play it so instead I mainly do arena customs because I have been having terrible connection issues due to hurricanes crapping all over comcast infastructure in jacksonville. But okay, Mr 2nd account just to make posts. You know that is against the forum TOS right?

Had a crap rank once besides the seasons when the game released. Forget the fact I run customs with champs frequently, and have gotten champ 3 times but okay. Whats your main account big guy?
Actually I have an idea! You and Exuberant get a team of 4, I will as well. Your team can sprint, mine wont. Best of 7. Lets see how much your claims about sprint combined with my “crap rank” matters at that point.

He never explains why he thinks so. He just mainly states that he thinks it doesnt belong in halo and that even without sprint if map design was improved other SA`s could be implemented correctly. Which I agree. But like I said, I could care less what they do with sprint, but player movement abilities increase the skill gap.

He doesn’t need to have explained exactly why. You said pros feel a certain and Jinxed said they don’t. Jinxed provided evidence that they feel the opposite of how you said (not that all pros are a single entity with a single opinion).

Pros are also shills. While the game is still the active Halo and there are still tournaments going on, they’re not going to say anything that’s going to potentially upset/disturb their viewerbase on Twitch/YouTube, as well as prevent them from potentially getting a job at 343. They’re also not the end-all, be-all on all things Halo. I stopped listening to their opinions years ago. Many of them said Reach and H4 were good games, too.

Champ in SWAT and Breakout lol. You always either have diamond or just barely squeak into onyx 1500 with terrible stats. You’re not nearly good enough to be shooting down people’s opinions on the forums by saying they suck.

Or, yunno, I could just sit here and debate this without a mini-series being played out since a figurative ego contest between two teams has no relevance as to what I speak about, nor does it prove anything, much less my point.

No, all of you seem to be missing my point. Lets play devil`s advocate for a minute. So if i said I agree that sprint doesnt belong in halo, I can still agree that the added map movement capabilities help to increase the skill gap. Batchford basically said that he thinks it doesnt belong, he never addresses the fact of skill gap.
A pro giving his opinion on sprint is not the same as the obvious fact PROVEN that it increases skill gap. I personally dont even sprint very much during games and always hated sprint before H5, but im not so blind to realize that increasing the possibilities of map movement increases the skill gap.

I don’t think I suck at the game. I’ve had an Onyx in every playlist with a few Champion ranks as well. and guess what? I don’t like sprint or nonetheless Halo 5 and stopped playing it months ago. Funny thing is I got back on my 360 and started playing Halo 3 again (obviously waiting for H3A). Never got bored of that game once cough cough no sprint cough cough and before you say anything, sprint makes Halo not feel much like Halo anymore, that’s why I play the older titles without it.

Sprint separates movement from combat. That shrinks the skill gap. Sprint lessens the punishments for poor movement decisions. That lessens the skill gap.
Some of the H5 specific movement abilities may increase the skill gap. that’s an interesting discussion. Sprint however, 100% does not increase skill gap. This is why actual competitive arena shooters that have skill gaps much larger than Halo’s do not have sprint.

Yeah game modes where I can be more effective without a team.lol. The other mode I search randoms frequently and people on my team end up deranking, quitting, or completely terrible. You seem so confident bro, come show me how bad I am compared to you. Like I said, 4v4. Put up or shut up.

Jinxed provided evidence that they feel the opposite of how you said (not that all pros are single entity with a single opinion).

In the first link Jinx provided, Batch directly says he disagrees with the statement of how the movement in Halo 5 is a skill that seperates players more than any Halo since CE, even saying that Halo 3 has harder jump/movement. So he did give his opinion on whether or not it effects the skill gap.
What “proven” fact are you talking about?
