I had some reservations about getting H5 because I wasn’t sure about the movement system but after watching lots of gameplay I got it. Unless you avoided all Halo news like the plague then you had to have known what you were buying because the new abilities were heavily advertised.

I knew what it had. That’s why I made it a point to wait and get it used. But it’s only fair to play the game and give it a fair shot. I played it. Despite its title, it’s not a Halo game. If it had a different title, it would probably be a good game. But by putting a disk that says “Halo” in my Xbox, and then to not be treated to a “Halo” experience, makes it pretty unenjoyable. I don’t like it.
way i see its about staying relevant. i know halo has always been that game that is different from other FPS games but the fact of the matter is a game play mechanic doesn’t break the game. it only feels more natural to play.
This is a difficult choice for me. I love Halo and i love Halo 5. I was best at Halo 4/ Reach and didn’t do to bad at 3. Sprint and the armour mechanics in 5 seems to be just fine to me i enjoy it, its fun and immersive, can’t seem to see any balancing issues?
On the other hand i’v been playing the latest Doom Title, and i’m destroying people on that, the simple arena gameplay, no sprint, reloading, ADS etc it feels fast and you focus more on looking for kills than camping tactically in an MLG corner waiting for camo.
ITs a tough one but personally it would be odd if Halo went back?

God bless this man^_^^^^^
How bout we Settle for a non sprint setting ? I dont know man, sprinting is waay too cool. To just throw it away would be wasteful.
Well, that’s a relief. I guess all of the over-arching problems that sprint introduces to Halo don’t exist, so we can all just stop talking about it. /s

I pretty sure the new spartan abilities (save -Yoinking!- spartan charge) would be GENERALLY accepted in a halo game if they werent accompanied by sprint it would feel more competitive more strategic and would also still be recognizable to the fine tuned experience we got in halo 5. Warzone and customs would be a whole other beast entirely retaining ALL the features that made halo 5 successful would keep warzone great and would also allow more options for custom games, for those people that actually wanted to play in a sprint arena type setting they could actually fire up the in game custom game lobby adjust the filter and be good to go! lets face it, sprint has NO place in competitive halo and to argue that it does would just be absurd. this would allow arena maps to continue to be designed the PROPER way and please the vets and basically everyone whos willing to give it a chance and you wouldnt lose much of your sprint loving audience at all because there would still be sprint in the game it would just take a backseat!

I want to like this infinity Times. This is the perfect responce to people like this who are whining about something that won’t change and they know it, there just two afraid of change to realise they’re being redicilous.
I think that we should keep sprint, just to keep up with modern gaming styles. I mean, what FPS can you think of that is current that doesn’t have sprint? Although, it would feel more like previous Halos 1 2 3, I think we should keep sprint if new players are going to come into and love the Halo franchise.

I guess all those things it has in it like Spartans, unsc, covenant, weapons, characters, and gameplay don’t Make it a halo game?
Besides, its not like people like you have an impact on 343 industries, they don’t listen to whiners. They only listen to constructive critisism, and positive feedback.
Another thing: how does changing the title of a game you dont like make it better? It would just be the same game, with a different title. It almost seems like you didn’t think at all before you said that. Hmm…

Please define "a Halo experience " because we must have very different definitions! H5 had MC, the Covenant, rechargeable shields, and a bunch of weapons unique to Halo. The art style isn’t Classic Halo but the art style between HCE and H2 was different too.

One character. The game was not designed around this character.

Tutorial is, and my point was overwatch has sprint in it. You know, cause soldier 76 is on overwatch
