I’m illustrating other aspects of your argument.

See, most things can be applied to what a Spartan can do. Corner lean, wall hugging, blind firing, proper hand to hand combat, better survivability against ballistic weaponry etc. How many of those things translate into good gameplay? Or, how many of those could be implemented while keeping a somewhat consistent gameplay with what we had before?

Now, if we want to get really serious with your argument about always going faster when running.
I certainly do not want to have the option to go even faster if the base movement speed is at an appropriate level, I want to have a good base movement speed which incidentally is the movement speed in which the action happens, the stuff I’m in the game for.

I don’t care if there are faster options, heck, I could argue for “super-sprint”
-BMS: Works as normal
-Regular Sprint: Works as normal
-Super Sprint: Tap the sprint button once you’ve reached maximum speed with sprint, now you sprint twice as fast with reduced turnability

Hey, now we have a third option to go even faster, and there’s no reason not to use it because it’s faster than regular sprint.
I’m concerned about the actual gameplay, not trivial things like what a Super soldier is supposed to be able to do, or not. I can also guarantee you there are things in the extended universe Spartans do that you’d be against in gameplay.

Also mind blowing factoid here: Just because there is a sprint button doesn’t mean you have to press it, every halo campaign made can be without sprint if you don’t press the button

And? Put yourself at a purposeful disadvantage for what purpose?

sprint is awesome and u need to get over it cuz its not leaving any time soon

> Removing sprint wont make halo halo again. Removing sprint will make halo halo Year:2000 version again. Go play Halo CE if you don’t like or aren’t good enough to keep up with sprint.

And keeping sprint will make Halo 6 the Halo 2009 version again.

We’ve had sprint for three games now, and apparently it’s the only thing that separates the old from the new.
Time for new ideas, let’s make spartans fly instead of running on the ground.

I wouldn’t be so sure. The industry is trending away from sprint and 343 loooooves industry trends.

Ah, there it is. The classic “I don’t have a counter-argument, so I’ll just imply that classic Halo is old and outdated and/or imply that people who dislike Call of Halo are bad at the game.” Pro tip: I’m better at this game than you are.

Not from Halo 5 no, but looking at future iterations?
Let’s look at a list of items to which people at some point said the same thing you say in this quote here.

-AAs
-Dual Wielding
-Global Custom Loadouts
-Perks
-Personal Ordnance
-Global Ordnance
-Grenade Indicators
-Bloom
-Flinch

This

Really???Once you learn how to use it and know how to benefit from sprint you will realize the problem is only in your head. Yes I know that maybe it might be frustrating for those who refuse to accept a useless add on(SPRINT) to see the little things you can benefit from. But nonetheless there is things you benefit from sprint…like kills…countless time Spartans running around like a dumb -Yoinks!- gives me the opportunity to get a shot or two in first which is a guaranteed kill for me…see I benefit from it… so can you!

2000 means Welcome to the 21st century games aren’t the same as back then

Please read just one of the arguments being made prior to making irrelevant posts like this. Thanks.

I couldn’t agree more Sprint is to stay and not EVERYONE wants a no sprint halo heck not even some want a no sprint halo

I looked at this for 5 mins and still don’t know what you’re talking about

Even with sprint, Halo needs some strategy. I rather keep sprint and make a game type without it

And now you’re arguing against your own poor argument. Priceless.
