because we care about the antithesis of what you have to say, we care deeply about halo and simple non-constructive opinions like yours are the majority of opinions for keeping sprint, whereas to say we want to enjoy halo (a game that found all of its popularity and critical success without sprint) we have to say we aren’t bound by nostalgia, give long detailed posts as to why it’s better, argue as to how halo would see more success without it, how it unbalances the design of the game and how it makes halo less distinct from its peers amoung many other points just to combat simple opinions, opinions that will dismiss something at even the hint that it follows the same style of logic or reasoning that they use.
tl;dr It’s a big deal because we’re passionate about halo, and comments like that are just frustrating

True, that one might have been a little to far but all the non constructive replies are getting really annoying, we have maby 30 people actually arguing and bringing up polls and gameplay while probably a hundred others make useless one sentence posts.

That’s okay to disagree, I mean there’s over 400 pages of disagreements. I just think Halo was a title that functioned without sprint because the game itself was made to work without it, literally; maps, weapons, even game modes, all of it had in mind the usage of non-sprinting mechanics. The reason Call of Duty and Halo 5 seem like the same title is due to the same motion ideas, albeit your not running on walls, but you are still moving a lot quicker than you probably should for the title you are playing. Just my opinion.

But how much does sprint impact that if the map designer has increased the distance you need to travel in order to keep you from reaching it too fast?
