Why can’t sprint be the same?

We don’t really know anything about their internal decision making process, but I’d be surprised if any developer chose to be guided mostly by what the vocal part of their community says. If I were to bet, I’d say they have an array of things they consider when making design decisions from matchmaking data to ultimately how they feel about it.

Ummmm…blizzard doesnt make COD or Destiny, so how is that relevant? Blizzard Entertainment is owned by Activision that doesnt meant they affiliate with all other games Activision publishes.

I desagree, the sprint is something that I miss in other games, but when I saw firstly on Halo: Reach I felt very gratefull

But these arguments against sprint are more than just opinions. There is actually tangible evidence that sprint negatively effects Halo’s gameplay.

Link Activision Blizzard is the parent company. link 2 Sure Blizzard Entertainment and Activision still do there own things under their labels, but they merged together. They still can imply, thus Activision Blizzard.

What are you saying this is about the sprinting in the new halo games and people have their opinion of if we should not use sprinting in halo

the opinion is that its negative. People point out some causal relationships and then opine.

Keep the sprint

Why.

Opinion- a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge
Argument- a reason or set of reasons given with the aim of persuading others that an action or idea is right or wrong
Debate- a formal discussion on a particular topic in a public meeting or legislative assembly, in which opposing arguments are put forward

I thought I would list the definitions of each word above, so you can understand the following sentences.

In a debate each side has an argument based of their opinions. They both start out with an opinion, than use arguments that strengthen their opinions with facts, evidence, or scenarios. The side with the best arguments wins, so far, sprint negatively effecting Halo’s gameplay has been proven to be more true than sprint being okay for Halo’s gameplay.

Are you? Seriously, do you only play Reach thru 5 and COD?

CSGO, OverWatch, UT, Quake, HCE-2 would like to have a word with you. Sprint does not mean fast gameplay.

A men to that!! It might create the illusion of being faster but sprinting people get shot just as fast as not sprinting.

If they took sprint out it wouldn’t change anything. These maps are small enough already and sprint doesn’t increase speed that much

You really think otherwise? Are these maps much bigger than Zanzibar, lockout, sidewinder, narrows, hang em high, turf, high ground etc.?

Map’s size is not the only reason why people despise sprint in Halo.

I thought it was because of how they had to build the maps around sprint. Now what is it?

I recommend you to read comments posted by others. There is no need for repeating same thing over and over.

Well Truth is much bigger than Midship, so yes.

I think it would be fine to have sprint but as a power up like in reach
