Whatever their opinion is, the fact is Truth was stretched out due to sprint.

Truth feels too open, because of the sightlines (and bullet magnetism). Sanctuary, though very open, had limited sightlines, and played reasonably well no matter what gametype you had on.
As for what is good or bad, video games are about having fun. Now, everybody has their own idea of what fun is, but I’d wager that many people choose to not play Halo 5 because it’s not very fun to them.
Riftball makes Halo 5’s movement system make sense, Truth doesn’t.

Time and resources are being spent implementing sprint and making these maps larger, so if one is to say the game plays better with these changes, they should say why. If one is to participate in this particular debate, that is. Time and resources should not be spent on something just because it’s “not bad”. Even the “cramped” feeling is as much of an illusion as sprint making you go faster (pretty much for the same reason too).

Yeah man, knowing when to run away takes way more skill than correctly positioning yourself–and landing shots, come to not think of it.

CSGO’s community hasn’t always been “booming” it started to gain traction after the skins and micro transactions they implemented. Not hating the game, its my go to fps just saying.
So youre basing that off your own experience rather than providing any real concrete facts? got it.
You argue competition would be better yet being able to precisely and swiftly move to your target location allows people to clear corners, shoot gaps, and grab power weapons in a much more aggressive and fast paced manor. The more fast and furious a game is the more competitive the environment is. Moving slowly to your location would not allow you to feel the “action” of the rushing into danger, blitzing a tank, or simply closing distance on someone with a weapon. In my opinion removing sprint would have a reverse effect.
