The smaller the communtiy gets (as it’s now the smallest it’s ever been since before Halo 3) the more people within it that will like sprint because they’ll soon be the only ones left playing the game. Like I said, keeping a game changing mechanic that people don’t like will push them away. Players having been pushed away doesn’t exactly support your claim of pro-sprinters being the majority.

I think of firefight, which 343 specifically stated that if people wanted a PvE warzone enough, they’d put it in. I think of them removing ordnance and loadouts, which the community said made it feel too much like CoD. No they don’t make every single decision requested by the community, but community feedback is where a ton of their decisions come from.

true teleporters are one of main things that made blood gulch good.

The last map I’ve seen a teleporter on is that fiery one in community doubles. The fact is. there are not enough in-door out-door maps (Like avalanche) and everybody feels that sprint is necessary because the teleporters are gone and the only free vehicle you can get in halo 5 is in frickin BTB!

I think of BTB, which was supposed to be replaced by warzone until fans yelled at them to put it in the game.

To make you want to spend the req point vehicles man. Not that the req system is the spawn of satan, but it needs to be HEAVILY amended in H6._________________________________________________________________________________________________________
For the purpose of saving my daily posts I would like to tell the poster above me that you should just run all of the time and make the maps smaller so you don’t feel so damn slow. If you removed sprint from h5 you would feel like a grandma. If you… wait in h3 we didn’t NEED SPRINT!!! Not to insult anybody but if you think halo needs or will ever need sprint to stay relevant you don’t know a god -Yoink!- thing about how halo works or why the originals were good.

as for the gent below me.

Spartan charge needs to go as well so the solution is two fold.

I pretty sure the new spartan abilities (save -Yoinking!- spartan charge) would be GENERALLY accepted in a halo game if they werent accompanied by sprint it would feel more competitive more strategic and would also still be recognizable to the fine tuned experience we got in halo 5. Warzone and customs would be a whole other beast entirely retaining ALL the features that made halo 5 successful would keep warzone great and would also allow more options for custom games, for those people that actually wanted to play in a sprint arena type setting they could actually fire up the in game custom game lobby adjust the filter and be good to go! lets face it, sprint has NO place in competitve halo and to argue that it does would just be absurd. this would allow arena maps to continue to be designed the PROPER way and please the vets and basically everyone whos willing to give it a chance and you wouldnt lose much of your sprint loving audience at all because there would still be sprint in the game it would just take a backseat!

Dude how in the hell can they remove sprint but have spartan charge?

Yeah so does the Spartan means like increase strength when having a speed boost.

The spartan would do neither as spartan charge is cancer and needs to go.

Even though I hate it a little but found fun to use to annoy people and is not really bad since its so easy to evade. All it needs to maybe go back to 25M.

okay but consider maybe just using your gun and the removal of sprint not allowing spartan charge anyway.

I doubt that it will be taken out but be even more nerfed probably like making it limited sprint instead of unlimited.

Hypotheticals bro. Sprint is gone in the possible scenario I am defending.

Yeah but that’s what 343 thinking and said but I don’t remember where.

You are probably right but the entire reason this thread exists is to change their minds.

That probably might not work since they pick what they want not everything.

WHO WANTS TO PLAY CUSTOMS?!(:
add: blood euphoria

Why are so many people mad about sprint? It’s just one small adpect of the game! I have no idea how this could be a bad thing.
