In my opinion, I don’t really care about sprint in halo, it doesn’t change the game at all for me. If you gonna hate me on this, (don’t) but there’s no reason that this core game mechanic is the end of the world. I love this game franchise to death, Halo 3 is still one of my favorite games of all time. Switching to a different game doesn’t really close the argument at all. I love Titanfall 2, Fortnite, Apex legends and Gears of War, but halo is the only game franchise I love to death, you can have opinions about sprint. even know I disagree, but I can see the flaws that you guys have, but unfortunately we can’t do anything about it. (because of the new fans of the franchise.) Also In my opinion, I like sprint, (not perfect but ok) it spices the game up, again also in my opinion I love halo 5’s multiplayer, it is one of the best multiplayer of any halo game. (but Halo 3 still have the best multiplayer) the advanced movement makes it interesting, but I can see some flaws. People hate the skill gap, I agree on this. The advanced movement gets rid of the balance of the game, I also agree on this. Beside the flaws, the game is still fun. I love fast movement base game’s but the halo franchise is still the best video game franchise of all time. The reason why I made this Forum because I really want to stop this argument, It’s hard to ignore and it needs to stop. Can we just say that everyone has different opinions, some people love sprint, some people hate sprint. I’m not saying you can’t make forums about sprint, I’m saying that this argument is so stupid, Hell some people get bullied over this crap.
I can understand that they want the old combat system back, I miss the old combat system too, but yet again, unfortunately it’s not gonna change.

Now, why would our forums exist if we weren’t here to argue? People are entitled to hold and fight for their own opinions, despite what we know will happen. The community can dream, they can dream for whatever they want, they can dream for the games to return to how they were in a time before, even if we all know it is highly unlikely to happen.
I do agree with you here though, the fight for your own opinion shouldn’t hurt or interfere with anyone else’s. The community’s biggest flaw is the fact that we refuse to accept other people’s opinions. Some innocent kid wanders into the forum and states that he likes Halo 5 and its movement features, the community runs him over with a bus.
Moral of the story: The argument shouldn’t stop, but it should definitely be toned down.
P.S: I like sprint too

I’m talking about the community in general, not the forums by itself. I’m get harassed because I said, “I don’t really care about sprint”.
I’m not saying you can’t argue at all, I’m saying that you should respect your argues not fight it.
The thing is I want to dream too, but whatever I make my dreams in this community, people will go, “you are not a true halo fan!” or, “you only like 343’s halo games, dislike!”
even know halo reach has sprint and even know I don’t really like halo 4 that much. (the campaign is descent but the multiplayer kind a sucks)
