The SPNKr as a Legendary?

We’ve seen that H5’s beta contains two human launchers in its sandbox, and many were dismayed to not see the classic SPNKr among them. However, when the Prophet’s Bane was named during a match commentary, one of the commentators called it a “Legendary Weapon”. The community has interpreted this as meaning that it is a unique variant of the ordinary Energy Sword specific to the map Truth, as it has been stated to have extra lunge range when Smart Scoped, as well as a movement speed buff.

Thus, my point is this. If Legendaries are map-exclusive power weapons, what do you think of the SPNKr being included as one? Personally, I couldn’t care less, but eh.

Sounds cool.

Wait, where? Why? Link please. The Spnkr is an iconic Halo mainstay and should be brought back either way.

I am curious how that is all going to work out with the sandbox. I would rather not have the sandbox have such a heavy % of UNSC weapons, but at the same time the classic rockets are pretty iconic. At the same time the incinerator could easily be used to fill that same role while the UNSC gets a new kind of launcher.

“Legendary” weapons do seem could be an out for weapons specifically balanced for a multiplayer experience, while still allowing for new weapons to be introduced.

The og rockets should be there, its one of the most iconic halo weapons.

I’m worrying that with so many UNSC weapons being shown it may mean the covie weapons are getting removed with a few exceptions like the sword. :frowning: I really hope this isn’t the case.

For me;

Regular Rocks: Just aerial lock-on.
Legendary Rocks: Locks onto any vehicle, increased splash, slightly quicker projectile speed. RoF as slow as CE’s model.
