Halo Infinite is a year after Halo 5. And Halo Wars 2 is during Halo 5. There is less than half of crew on the Ship. I don’t expect them to win, but they def did not survive a year enough fighting for the Ark. Realistically, they can not defend anything important at all if Banished troops already held an area since they drastically outnumber them. I doubt Cutter only loses like 4 soldiers per skirmish.

No Anders made it clear she had temporary access. Even then, she is gone so they have no control over them anymore

Right. Well the spirit of fire may be dead but maybe prof. Anders is still alive and well
They’re actually winning through the power of…

While it is extremely unlikely that the Spirit of Fire could continue to wage an effective campaign against the Banished on the Ark, I don’t think we should just assume that the Spirit of Fire was destroyed or it’s crew wiped out.
I think it’s well within the realm of possibility that Spirit managed to hold out with heavy causalities.
Atriox doesnt really have a way to destroy the ship through

Spirit of Fire will show up in Infinite at some point, it was trying to get to Reach and it wouldn’t be impossible with the tech on the ark.
Isabel is a really powerful AI, and with all the modifications and upgrades she’s made to some vehicles, the spirit of fire would be able to hold out for some time. Plus, spirit of fire has red team. Also, spirit of fire destroyed the banished flagship and beat the banished countless times. I might be wrong, so if i am, correct me.
I’m hoping that in Halo Infinite, Chief will be in abit of a jam and the Spirt Of Fire will come in with the clutch haha
