For real 343… Either let us choose a spawn point, or force the game to spawn us AWAY from enemies…

That was pretty unfair, I can see no argument supporting it. Perhaps you should be allowed to spawn on a certain player like you can do with your squad in Battlefield. or maybe it’s just a better idea to be able to choose one spawn point out of many, I don’t know. As long as it doesn’t allow for what happened in the above clip.

The fact that the warthog decided to shoot my dead body was even more insulting. Rip my dreams.

I like the idea of being able to choose a spawn point out of a selection. At least at that point, you have a little bit of choice, and some of the blame can fall on the player, instead of totally on the game
We need a timer fix, a better spawn system (enemies too!), and if the enemies health is staying as is, better weapons too.

Yeah, the spawns are bad. I spawned a wasp and it put me right in the middle of the four phaetons we needed to kill, needless to say i was taken down quickly without being able to move or do any damage. Granted a wasp wouldn’t much against a phaeton but i had spawned it before knowing what the round was going to be.
i cant get past round 2 its just stupid its not even firefight anyway
Spawns are bad, Ok. But you could have dodged that. The thing is- you didn’t have enough time.
The worst spawns are for “Defend the whatever”. You usually get spawn at least twice as far from the objective than the enemy.
Say what you want against Promethean, you can’t say that they are not accurate. That type of accuracy with a rocket hog is ridiculous.

But really, I’m down with selecting from a choice of spawns (or a battle bro) like Reach had in place. And, kinda related, a revive mechanic that provides some risk/reward to circumvent the respawn timer.

i gotta agree here. ya looked right at that hog and then looked away. it didn’t shoot until a couple seconds later. in terms of meters you were also a fair distance from the hog. the problem is, its never my first thought to see a warthog in WZFF and assume that its an enemy vehicle because it shows up so rarely
those rocket hogs definitely spawn trap people though. I’ve noticed that on multiple playthroughs of that objective. theres really nothing you can do about it either because of the amazing aim the gunner has. basically just gotta either hunker down and settle for focusing on them till they’re dead or until something bigger distracts them.

At the moment I did think it was friendly, with rocket hogs being AA with a Phaeton boss and all.

It’s was like an 8 second warning, you had plenty of time to run to cover

And I thought getting Banshee bombed after spawning in round 4 was unbearable…
Fully agree. We need to be able to choose our spawn location. Hell, you can do so in regular Warzone, why they removed that function in FireFight is beyond me.
Hate spawning a tank only to have it roll out on the Opposite side of the map. Does 343i know how damn slow those things are?

yeah the first time i had that round i know i got rekt by a rocket hog for the same reason haha.
looked at it, was like oh look someone called in a rocket hog. even once it shot at me i was wondering if it was friendly fire for a second
