Is just my luck, or does Halo 5 have one the worst spawn systems?
its pretty bad. I spawn kill heaps of enemies especially on forged maps. Likewise i get spawn killed plenty myself and is infuriating. 3 spawn kills in a row and I quit. No question about it and I don’t blame the enemy team for doing it either. It needs to be addressed.

Yes it does, but for the worst spawn system I’ve ever experienced on a game is on Black ops 3 (Domination on Nuk3town)
It seems fine to me now
The warzones spawns are the worst. Half the time it spawns you outside of base setting you up to get killed trying to get to cover, or a req station. Call in a req, same thing if not worse.
Yeah, it’s pretty bad. I’ve often been spawned away from my teammates, and closer to an edge of the map, particularly in places where the other team can easily see me.

I agree, Warzone and Warzone Assault have the worst spawns. I have spawned directly in front of enemy tanks multiple times when trying to spawn inside my home base (while the shields are still up too) only to be killed before I even have the chance to move. The Warzone Assault spawns are also easily manipulated by the defending team on some maps too.

You can’t complain about spawns unless you’ve spawned in an object that you can’t escape from.
On the Arena maps I think a lot of it has to do with the ability to traverse a map so quickly. There are many, many times I will spawn right in front of an enemy.

This has happened to me multiple times in Warzone. It’s spawned me inside the vehicle bay. Also I have spawned off the edge of the map many times too.

I’ve spawned in a crate where my grenades couldn’t kill me… I was stuck there for the rest of the game.
In the vehicle bay you can shoot the shield to kill yourself.

I believe you can also run into the back of the vehicle bay and clip through the floor to die too, but yeah the crate sounds worse lol.

Been there,done that multiple times. Thankfully i always have grenades to kill myself with

I spawned in on Raid on Apex once with a Prophets Bane inside of a rock. Was great.

I played Halo3 a lot and even in that game people knew how to spawn trap/camp. I am not defending halo 5’s spawning in any way, just making an observation.

I have rarely been spawn trapped in this game. I don’t really see that as the issue, but more about the ridiculous spawns we get somtimes.

I have been trapped in warzone a few times. Like you said, not a big issue.
I agree the spawning off the maps, in line of fire, inside objects is a little crazy.
