I was watching gameplays and i saw that the spartans die too soon
because the weapons like DMR shoots fast, really fast :(, please 343 change this, i dont like it, the spartans has more resistance in halo reach and halo 3.
You most likely saw a Spartan getting shot by 2 or 3 enemies at the same time. One on one battles aren’t that bad. It’s when it becomes 1v2 or more.
I agree. The primaries kill so fast…
Unfortunately, most people like fast kill times.
I’ve noticed that as well, and I’ve been hoping it was just because of team-shooting. However, there have been times when it’s 1v1 and the kill time is incredibly fast.
Can we go back to the 3-4 second kill time of Halo 3? It was fast, but not CoD-fast.
Well don’t think of it as being killed easier, just think of it as you being able to kill others quicker.
Wow, first you complain the game is too slow paced, then you complain that it’s too fast.
OT: I agree with POKEY CLYDE that it was most likely just them getting killed and/or overrun by more than one player on the enemy team.

Yes and no, in 1v1 the spartans die more faster than reach, in my opinion, the reason is the time of shoot of the weapons, really fast(sorry for the bad english).
The long kill times in Reach plus armor abilities slowed down the game quite a bit and most people didn’t like that.
I disagree, faster gameplay is a good thing. Halo 4’s killtimes, while MUCH faster than default Reach’s, are in between Halo 2 and 3’s killtimes, which seems fine to me.
I like fast killtimes. Previous Halo’s were a tad too slow for my taste.
With fast killtimes, I have a better chance of killing more people in one run because I usually go for stealthly kills lol.
Watching some gameplay right now, and the guy is getting lit up like crazy and manages to run away.
My hopes are you guys are either watching someone getting 2v1’d, or it’s a Headshot-Hancho against a guy with a broken controller.

Agreed completely. Besides, the people who have played at PAX even said that the killtimes were more between Halo 2 and Halo 3 than CoD. Halo 4’s killtimes are fast, but at least you can’t get killed by two or three shots from an AR.
Die at least as fast as halo 3, i want it, i hate these faster kills :(.
Gamers today are impatient and think earning your kills through a challenge is lame and fast killtimes is the kernel of good gameplay and skillful gameplay. Which is fine for SWAT or something, but then you’re not sure if they’re hiding behind the game of “Skill” or “Eyespy” where they merely saw you first.

That’s incredibly debatable. Between Halo 3 and Reach time is good for me, I don’t want to go into a 1 sec battle. It’s not fun IMO.

It all depends on whether the rest of the game’s mechanics (movement speed, aim sensitivity, movement acceleration, etc) are designed to support fast killtimes.

Between 1.4 and 1.6 seconds is what it’s looking like right now, but keep in mind these are optimal killtimes. Most engagements should last longer because of players missing (especially because of Halo 4’s much-lower aim assist).
As i can see the DMR shoots fast, really is awful :(, i wanna halo 3 kill times.
Well that’s Halo now, DEAL WITH IT!
