The introduction of the Spartan IVs in the Traviss novels/Halo 4 has really brought an aspect of the Halo universe I really have been enjoying and hope Spartan Ops will be around for a long while. Halo 4 gave us the vast majority of SIV information and interaction, the novels have been pretty poor when it comes to the Spartan IVs.
There is about a 4 year window after the events in Halo: The Thursday War where Infinity makes a statement at Sangheilios to where the Infinity joins the fray at Requiem. The way I see it thats 4 years of story about Infinity/SIV actions and operations im intrested in. we could get some great background story on major characters like Palmer, Thorne, and Lasky.
Does anyone else share this intrest in seeing a novel based on those 4 years?
As long as Karen doesn’t write it i won’t mind but i feel like it isn’t needed. A little spin off game could do that but we pretty much know what was going on during that time with elites hating us and all.
Grey Team needs another book.

I dont think that story is worth a game. It would be like H3: ODST where the multiplayer was still H4 based but the campaign would be a history lession and not moving canon foward
A novel would fit the niche better (IMO), just to fill in some gaps that some but not everyone would be intrested in. plus money wise I dont think a spin off game about Inifinity prior to H4 would sell very well.
Fair enough point. I just don’t see either being interesting since fighting covenant is bone dry at this point.

Fair point sir.
