My company is fairly active with a bunch of people who literally have no lives but even then the numbers 343 asks are insane. You would need a 100 person spartan company of people who are all playing constantly to just get the first half of the of the Achilles armor. Then on top of that the rewards for in between rank 3 and 5 are pathetic. Like really 200 xp for 80k standard weapon kills?
you need a full 100 people actively playing and you will get it. this is grinding but do able. now if its regular commendations like warden kills or breakout without dying an entire match. those need to have reworking done. idc how badass you are. you are nowhere going to get close to the 0 death breakout commendation completion unless you play against scrubs the entire time. if it was round base, not match base, that would be doable. but i dont even seeing the most pro players ever getting this one done. the only way is to camp, your odds are better.
Companies already have the body armor and most of their members have lives, so maybe your 100 man company is just inefficient? I’d suggest setting daily goals to speed it up.

Dude there’s like 8 total companies who have the armor right now so I would hardly call those people “people with lives”
They are insane. I am surprised some companies already have the armor. Props to them.

I’m in the leading company and it’s not that insane, we’re active and we’re going to achieve it within a month I’m sure. We already have the Chest piece.
The only thing insane about them is the inconsistencies for like commendations across the board.
950 Air Vehicle kills vs 9,000 Ground vehicle kills on the same rank? Why?
6,000 Covenant kills vs 9,000 Promethean kills on the same rank? Double Why?
The list goes on.
Trying to keep people coming back, so they have something to work for.

There are far more ground vehicles, and far more Promethians in warzone right now. The difference makes sense in that regard.

The difference doesn’t make sense when I can single handedly complete 5% of the commendation in a single good match with a banshee.
Also, there aren’t more promethean spawns. It’s actually pretty even across the board with the exception of Apex which has more Covie spawns.

Of course you say its not insane you probably haven’t played any other game since Halo 5 came out. I’ll be surprised if you remember what color the sun is at this point.

half your company is made champion players and the other half are onyx what about the average halo 5 players. you guys obviously don’t have lives

Agreed, it’s supposed to be hard
Honestly, I don’t feel like they’re that bad. I joined up with one of the ‘we want achilles’ the 5th I believe, and we’re already close to getting the armor. I wouldn’t be surprised if we got it soon and got the helmet not too long after, say late march, early april. It is no doubt tougher for smaller companies, but if anything it just encourages you to recruit more members.
As a side note, by joining my company I’ve met a ton more players and enjoy the benefit of way more party games. I think overall the commendations have increased social gaming in Halo 5, and I fully support that.
I’m not saying it should be easy but I am saying the amount of effort required to make a decent dent into it is absurd for average to even above average players. The people who currently have the armor are either in the 1% of Halo 5 players or they’re getting a free ride.

Seriously though, they are kind of asking a bit much, just a little bit too much.
Be efficient with your 100 spartans? Groups of 4 or 6 for Warzone and 2 for Arena to ensure your company is spread out across as many games as possible with the ability to get the most out of all the games?
