The Spammability of the Sidekick is Not Conducive to a Proper Tactical Experience

No. I didn’t. You just can’t fathom being wrong.

And I’ll be -Yoink!- if I’m being a $1200 pc just to prove it to you.

My GPU alone was 1200.

Like I said, I proved different so you can’t fathom being wrong. Words against words…

But what you’re requiring me to do is shell out cash for a pc to do the test side by side. It would be different if I already had a good pc but I don’t.

So that’s not bias. You have an xbox. Why don’t you test both inputs on that? You could easily set it up.

Just bind your fire button to a random key so you don’t have to reposition your mouse.

I’m not “requiring” you to do anything. I simply said my test was more thorough than yours. I’m sure if you had a PC to run Halo, and spent some time like I have you would see for yourself. If you can’t, then you can’t but don’t paint a picture to fit your world.

Like I said, back in beta it was the same or close to the same as controller. At release, there is no more option. I simply posted that video because it shows the PC settings from beta. After he turns it off, he didn’t really put much time into it which does kinda suck.

That’s gatekeeping. You can’t just make up requirements to suit your narrative.

You literally do this everytime someone comes up with a counterpoint.

No, it’s not. It’s facts.

If anything, you’re gatekeeping yourself.

Sorry not sorry, but your testing is invalid to me. Until someone else can provide similar testing to what I have done or even better, then I’ll reconsider. Hell, I wish I could of done better testing. Like pixel count and measure the crosshair distance that way. I’m not claiming my test is the best or the “benchmark” of testing, but it’s the best we got. Most only show their POV in the weapon drills or bot training. Can’t really deny what I’ve done is a better way of measure.

There has never been an option to change bullet magnetism, and I’ve tested it on the current build and it’s still the same with either input, on console as well as pc.

Idk what else to say really

And this is literally why Bloom is bad.

This is bull and you know it.
By this definition, the AR is a precision weapon. Good lords.

SK is quite literally the Reach DMR with its pp cut off but the tactic and “skill” in using it is the exact same, which is spam it till you make it.

It’s SWAT. Not military tactical Rainbow Six warfare.

I think the no scope out with the Sidekick (and AR for that matter) are all that makes it overpowered. That and maybe the rate of fire. If you couldn’t stay scoped in with the Sidekick, it would reduce the ability to use it at the range that is currently now defeating BR’s at. Time and time again, at longer ranges, sidekicks and ARs are spraying to prevent me from finishing my BR kills.

@perfectXzerO It’s the ROF. I can spam it to outgun AR’s and BR’s. It was designed to be a clean up tool yet I can use it as my primary.

Are you familiar with how swat works in other games? Being able to spam semiautomatic weapons to get lucky body shot kills has never been the ideal way to play, or at least it makes the game far less fun for most people

i just want the DMR back, i feel like Swat will never feel the same as it once did.

Yeah, sidekick feels more like “who got the lucky bloom or spasmed their finger the fastest to get the body shot kill”

Hasn’t been the same since 2001-2003 CE, when local communities were not as connected as they are now. We called it Slayer Exp, to copy a similar name as Slayer Pro.

Yes, there was. This is a video from the beta build on PC, just skip to the 5 minute mark and you’ll see for yourself that it was in fact an option, like I’ve been saying…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NR0kp0SIMnA

Now, there is no option and it is turned off on KBM by default.

It also shows that red reticle was there on PC.

SO how can you say it was never an option? Video proof above, I was there as well as anybody else that had the beta on PC.

Mhmm “trust me, bro”

There’s definitely is bullet magnetism on the mouse. What are you talking about? First you say it’s less than what xbox gets and now it’s completely nonexistent.

You don’t sound like a trustworthy person yourself. You can’t even keep your story straight.

Quote me where I said it’s “completely nonexistent”. I never once said that, don’t put words in my mouth. You know what they say about people who assume, right? I’ve said and always said, even said it in my video that yes KBM does get bullet mag but it is not on par with controller, the same missed shots on KBM do not act the same as missed shots on controller. It used to be, in beta but they since then took the option away to toggle it on or off and reduced it compared to how it was in beta/compared to controller.
