When I first played Halo 4, I wasn’t too big on most of the soundtrack. A few hits clicked with me the first runthrough, like Forerunner (When you first encounter warp into the Didact’s prison chamber), 117 (Obviously), and Arrival. But as I’ve grown more into the soundtracks, I’ve picked up some new favourites that hands down compare with even Halo 2’s amazing greats:
Revival, To Galaxy, This Armour, and Nemesis especially have become top 20’s in the entire franchise for me!
Halo 4’s soundtrack is vastly underrated. It is one of the things 343i definitely did RIGHT. Not that I’m not sad to see Marty’s classics go, but these new additions are phenominal!
I love Halo 4’s soundtrack, it’s a driving reason I love the Campaign and even several missions (though not all) of Spartan Ops.
