The solution to the sprint debate.

Everyone is going on about whether they like or hate sprint. whether it should or shouldn’t be in the game. the answer is simple:

  • Make a classic playlist in arena matchmaking with no sprint/armor abilities and add maps to balance them to that play style

This was already done in halo reach when halo anniversary came out and it was a great success
so there are no valid reasons why this cannot be done.

This is a very clear and obvious way of making both sides happy.
anyone who thinks it wouldn’t be good enough is being unreasonable.

To help you avoid cluttering up the message boards, they are “going on about whether they like or hate sprint” in the following topic:

The removal of sprint will make halo halo again.

this is a separate discussion from that. you are very ironically cluttering up this post now.

A lot of people would still probably abandon the game even with a full time Classic playlist.

Not saying they shouldn’t look into it but a lot of people want it out of the game as a whole.

That’s a bandaid, not a solution.

Though a bandaid is better than an open wound.

No, it really isn’t… you proved that in your very first sentence.

Your suggestion probably would have generated some interesting discussion in the original post, but I suspect you wanted to give your own post much more attention than that.

Can we get a lock on, yet again, another sprint post? And before you say “mines different” we’ve heard it before.

And a lot don’t.
