Good afternoon 343 and Halo Community,
In the Following, I concisely and simply detail Two Main Fixes in Two Sections:
•1 | XP & Score:
Give XP not per game completed, but per game won. Give default 100xp per game won in addition to XP added on for your performance based on your score, maybe half your score or your whole score. This way there is neither a glut of XP nor easy-to-get, braindead XP gain. No one likes challenges because they deviate from the objectives of the gamemodes and aren’t relaxing. (I also want score added for being a driver of a vehicle when the gunner gets kills to promote teamplay, as I’m the best warthog driver. Please display scoreboard automatically when match ends.)
•2 | Challenges & XP Multipliers:
-Challenges & Challenge XP Multipliers:
Challenges can be an XP multiplier instead of giving XP in chunks. If you complete a challenge, it’s a multiplier applied to your XP at the end of winning a match. If you complete the challenge in a match you lose, it defaults you the current XP chunks that challenges give out, so this way you still get something for losing since you completed a challenge.
-Lobbies & Lobby XP Multipliers:
Another multiplier can be if 343 makes lobbies and allows voting for next maps/gamemodes. Then a multiplier can be applied after staying in the same lobby for every 5 games, deterring players from putting down Halo while promoting the players, after a few matches in the same lobby, to learn to communicate and work together or have a nemesis like the legacy Halos did.
NOTE: This is notwithstanding whether a separate progression/leveling system is added alongside the Battlepass like Reach had.
Kind regards,
Bittzen
