Velocity gained from landing into a slide on a ramp has proportional reduction based on fall height.

It took timing and dedication to perfect sliding in this game. Now half of that is -Yoink!-ed. Dude come on.

Still seeing players sliding all over the place in matches. Doesn’t appear to stop players using it effectively.
This does strike me as a weird change. A skill gap worth learning that from what I can tell, nobody was complaining about
I’m not so much against the nerfs (though I don’t see the point) but the lack of communication beforehand is what is egregious. They did multiple blogs about the changes to season 2 and this was left out every single time? That’s not fair to players who mastered the slide.

Certain jumps aren’t possible anymore. Which to be honest, were pretty hard to pull off before so there was no reason for this nerf to have taken place.
Needs to be reversed asap.
